Love Comes To Me
Chapter 632: Defending your sister

Marian's face turned a little darker.

Eloise noticed a strong glance resting on her.

Followed that gaze and spotted the hostility in Marian's eyes in the distance.

Before she could ponder anything, Solomon's voice pulled her thoughts back, "Mummy, don't be so mean to your sister all the time." With Solomon's support, the little girl immediately made a commiserating face and nodded earnestly.

"I'm not being mean in any way." Eloise gave the little girl a blank look.

Now she has found a backbone and knows to sue.

The two children were silent, with a "no?" look on their faces.

Making Eloise really think she had just been mean, she subconsciously looked at Hector, "Did I?"

Hector, who was suddenly cued, froze for a moment and responded with a doting, "Well, sort of."

The two small children sniggered instantly.

Eloise held her forehead in pain.

The image fell on Marian's eyes, and it was even more harsh.

They were a real family, and she seemed superfluous.

But soon she saw the situation clearly and forced herself to calm down.

Stiffly, she stepped forward and greeted Eloise, "Madame, it's been a long time."

Eloise was stunned for a moment at the words, looking at the smiling Marian in front of her, her brow furrowed slightly. Did they, in fact, know each other before?

Why did this woman sound like she knew her well.

Despite Marian's smiling face, Eloise inexplicably feels a twinge of repulsion towards her.

She took an unconscious half-step back, avoiding Marian's touch, her eyes clear and cold.

However, she wasn't sure why she was resistant to Marian, her heart was even disgusted, which was really a bit strange.

But out of courtesy she nodded her head in greeting, and then quickly averted her eyes.

Looking into Eloise's cold, unfamiliar eyes, Marian thought for a moment that what she had done had been compromised and panicked for a few moments. She stood silently to one side, half biting her lip and facing Eloise a little overwhelmed.

A deep sense of dread rose up in the bottom of my heart.

The evening breeze was soughing and Eloise's long hair flowed slightly up against her pale face.

"Figured out where to go?" Hector asked softly.

Tightening her shawl, Eloise felt a hint of coolness.

She rubbed her arms and said to the father and son, "Just go to the last restaurant line."

With those words, Solomon took Sweety and ran towards the car first.

Eloise looked at Marian next to her, who was frozen in thought, and hesitated, but suggested, "Why don't you let her come along too, it's more lively." Hector raised an eyebrow slightly and looked coolly at Marian.

"Are you going?"

Shivering at the cold stare, Marian shook her head in panic.

"I still have things to do, so I'll go back first."

Only then did Hector withdraw his eyes with satisfaction.

Eloise saw this and didn't force the issue.

After Marian left, she followed Hector to the car.

The back seat was occupied by Solomon and Sweety, both of whom were deliberately lying down, and Eloise had no choice but to go to the passenger side.

Just as she sat down, Hector took off his suit jacket and handed it to her, saying without question, "Hold this for me."

"Ugh?" Eloise blinked in confusion.

"It's a bit hot." Hector averted his eyes on a cloud.

Did it? Why did she feel a little cooler, Eloise couldn't help but grimace at the shifting gloom and doom of the man.

Still, the clothes were held over, and she blushed slightly as the man's crisp scent from the jacket hit her nose.

Pulled the shirt over my legs and was still a little uncomfortable all over.

The car drove on for a while and Eloise suddenly realised the benefit of her jacket. The windows were half open for air, but she was a little thinly dressed and the evening breeze came in with a chill seeping over her skin. Hector's clothes came in handy, and without realising it the clothes that covered his legs moved up to his arms.

Within a short time the car was driving to the place.

Getting out of the car, Eloise handed the clothes back to Hector and said with a light smile, "Let's go inside."

Dusting the creases at the shoulders of Eloise's coat, Hector hmmed.

His movements were so natural and casual that Eloise was a little unprepared for them.

"Come on, Mummy, Sweety's hungry."

While Eloise was still in a daze, Sweety took her hand and pulled into the restaurant.

Once seated, Eloise ordered a few favourite dishes, thinking to ask Hector if he wanted more, but the man and Sweety were having just the right amount of fun and didn't care.

So she didn't say a word and the meal was quickly brought to the table.

Eloise looks at the table of delicious food but her appetite is lacking, and a hint of fatigue curls her brow.

The whole time they were feeding Sweety and Solomon didn't eat much.

Hector looked on and the depths of his eyes grew deeper and deeper.

It was late in the evening when we walked out of the restaurant.

Hector holds the little girl in his hands while his eyes fall on Eloise's face.

Her pale face was illuminated by the light and appeared slightly transparent, and her face did not look very well.

Hector looked at her worriedly and spoke, "Come on, let's get you back to the hospital."

Eloise will be a little heavy and not very comfortable.

At the sound of his voice, he pressed his brow and nodded.

When she arrived at the hospital and got out of the car, Eloise's eyes went black and her vision suddenly blurred a little. She braced her hand on the door handle, which allowed her to stand firm.

"Are you all right?"

Hector had just got the little girl off the car when he saw Eloise's frail appearance and gave his free hand to feel her forehead. "There's no fever, why do you look so bad." He wondered. murmured.

The cool palm of her hand on her forehead, the man's scent lingering around it, and a sudden tickle leapt up in Eloise's heart.

Realising that the gesture was a little too intimate, she had to turn her head to avoid his hand.

Solomon saw that Eloise did not look well and asked worriedly, "Are you not feeling well, Mummy?"

Eloise stroked his head and replied softly.

"I'm fine, I'm probably just a little sleepy, I should be fine after a good night's sleep."

The words fell and Hector could not say anything more.

The four of them headed for Mrs Darlington's ward.

At this point the little girl was a little sleepy and nestled in Hector's arms, her eyes half closed.

Eloise reached over, "Give me Sweety."

Seeing that he was also at the door of the ward, Hector delivered Sweety to Eloise.

Looking at the dark shadows outlined on Eloise's eyelids, he said with some heartache, "You haven't slept much in the last few days in the hospital, have you? Your body is a bit overwhelmed." It seems to be a question, but the tone is one of certainty.

Eloise hung her head slightly without saying a word.

It is true that she is so tired today because of the lack of sleep.

Looking after Mrs Darlington and watching Sweety at the same time was a little too much for my heart.

When she didn't say anything, Hector knew he had guessed correctly.

She had never been fond of loving her own body.

It was and still is.
