Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 634: You'll only add to the mess if you come
Thomas only saw his back as he hurried away, unable to chase after him.
Hector raced all the way to the Darlington family.
The front door of the Darlington family was locked and he rapped hard, "Eloise, are you in there?" Hector's eyes were red with anxiety when no one came to the door after half a day of shouting.
His eyes swept upwards and settled on the top of a window on the first floor.
There is an extensive balcony outside that window, which is not very high off the ground.
The window next to it is also large, so if it had been unlocked, it would have been possible to enter directly to the first floor.
If it's locked, just smash it!
Eyes narrowed for just a moment before Hector made his move.
A few minutes later, there was a clear cracking sound from the Darlington family and both mother and daughter in the room shuddered. The little girl was so frightened that she stopped sobbing even more.
It didn't take long for Hector to appear in their view.
A bit of dust rubbed on his straight suit, one hand behind his back, his handsome face dotted with deep concern.
In a daze, Eloise saw only a tall, sonorous figure, against the light, long and erect.
She was suddenly relieved.
Saved yet.
She meditated on it.
"Daddy!"
The little girl was stunned for a moment, and when she reacted, she immediately ran over and hugged Hector's thigh, sobbing uncontrollably. "Daddy, come on... look at mummy..."
Hector walked over and touched Eloise's forehead with a sharp thud of his heart.
The temperature is downright scary.
Not daring to hesitate, Hector grabbed Eloise by the waist and ran downstairs, not forgetting to tell Sweety to follow him.
Drove furiously all the way to the hospital.
Hector grabbed a doctor with scarlet eyes.
"Quickly see how she is!"
The doctor, startled by his snarling appearance, busied himself with examining Eloise.
"It's a fever of thirty-nine degrees."
The doctor was shocked to see the temperature on the thermometer.
Any later delivery and Eloise could have been burning up with complications.
The nurse was hastily instructed to give Eloise physical cooling first.
Then she was given oral antipyretics.
Just in case, Eloise's blood was taken for a routine blood test.
After this series of events, the doctor left.
Hector stood by and watched Eloise's frail form, his heart tugging painfully.
She had an IV tube in her arm and the medicine was slowly seeping in.
The little girl's eyes were red and she held Eloise's hand tightly, not moving an inch.
Eloise lies in her hospital bed, excessively quiet and distracting.
Hector stared at her pale face for an instant, changing the towel that had turned hot on her forehead, rewarming it with cool water and putting it back on, over and over again. After a long time, the nurse came over to change Eloise's fluids and noticed the scratches on Hector's right hand.
Somewhat surprised, he said, "Sir, you've been scratched by glass on this arm, haven't you, why don't you treat it? I see the wound is quite deep."
Hector lowered his eyes indifferently, glanced at the wound that had stopped bleeding and said with an expressionless face, "Didn't notice."
A look of apparent indifference.
The corners of the nurse's mouth twitched slightly, did this man not feel pain?
But because of Hector's air of being a stranger, he didn't dare to say anything more.
After she had changed Eloise's IV tube, Hector called out to her.
"Do you have any antiseptic water and bandages here? Lend me that."
The nurse froze at first, but quickly reacted and said in a loud voice, "Yes, yes, I'll go and get it for you."
Within five minutes, the nurse came in from outside with an array of medical supplies in her hands. Stepping in beside Hector, he was just about to cut his clothes off when Hector stopped him. "I'll do it myself."
The man's cold tone did not allow her to question anything, so the little nurse did as she was told.
After putting his things down, he fled the ward in a hurry.
The man's eyes were too frightening. Despite his good looks, the aura around him was still so regal that even when he walked out, he still felt a little chill down his spine. Sweety couldn't help but cover her mouth when she saw Hector cutting open his sleeves.
"Daddy, your wound is so deep."
Hector smiled and stroked Sweety's head, turning her around so as not to see the bloody wound.
"It's okay, these are just small bruises, once daddy wraps this up nothing will happen."
After treating the injury on his arm, Hector took another moist towel and kept wiping Eloise's hot skin.
to help cool her down, the concern between her eyebrows showing through.
Daylight soon fell and Hector stayed awake all night.
In the morning the doctor came to check on Eloise, found that her fever had gone down and said to Hector, "Sir, your wife is now out of danger.
However, she is still very weak and susceptible to viruses, so she should also take care if she goes back and recuperate for a period of time to heal."
At the sound of his voice, Hector was always relieved.
Looking at the frail and delicate person in the hospital bed, he hated that it was himself who was lying there now.
At that moment a bell rang, waking Sweety straight from her sleep.
Sweety cried and held out her hand to Hector.
Hector walked over and noticed that Sweety's coat pocket contained none other than Eloise's mobile phone.
Hector frowned when he saw the name of the person displayed.
"Hello."
The cool male voice came in, surprising Rowson, who then enquired, "Hector, why do you have Eloise's phone? Where is she?" Rowson returned this morning with the idea of picking up Eloise to see Mrs Darlington, who has now regained her senses.
But a search around the Darlington family failed to reveal Eloise, much to his concern.
Hector replied coldly, "Eloise is in hospital now, having fainted from the heartbreak of caring for your mother."
There was a strong tone of discontent in his voice.
Eloise would not have become what she is if it were not for the Darlington family.
When Rowson heard that he said at once, "Which hospital is Eloise in now? I'll be right there."
At these words, Hector snorted coldly and refused bluntly, "You don't need to come over, I can take care of Eloise by myself, and you will only add to the mess if you come. It's better to take care of your mother first and let your mother get well soon so that Eloise doesn't have to work so hard either."
His words were unforgiving and Rowson on the other side of the room was speechless with a pale blue face. Hector's words were true; he was already too busy caring for Mrs Darlington to take care of Eloise these days. After hanging up the phone, Rowson sat down with mixed feelings.
This time it was his hands that delivered the man to Hector.
But what he didn't know was how much Hector's heart was hurting at this point.
Eloise had always been the woman he held close to his heart, and to be in this state was more painful than killing him.
