Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 670: Until we get it back!
After confirming that Agnes wasn't faking, she bent down and probed Agnes' nose, which was still breathing.
Marian was in no hurry to get the man into the car and take him to the hospital.
Hector had only one thing on his mind now, to find out the truth and bring Eloise back.
Lean back on everything else except this one.
Marian hated it with a passion inside her and felt more and more that this man would only be hers if Eloise was dead.
She was simply too confident, even during the period when Eloise was missing, and Hector never had any thoughts about her. Do it again and the ending won't be any different.
But Marian couldn't see it.
It was only a few days later that Marian arrived at JS Group.
She watched Hector silently behind her for a long time, then changed her expression to one of anxiety and pushed the door in.
"Mr Hector is no good, Agnes has escaped!"
Hector's hand jerked and he looked uncomfortable.
"What did you say?"
Marian was anxious and scared, and spoke with deliberate pity.
"Agnes ran away, I'm sorry, I didn't keep an eye on her."
Hector violently swept the pile of papers to the floor and said angrily, "A bunch of trash, so many people can't watch one person, what did I raise you for?!" Marian was afraid to speak.
Hector in a rage she knew all too well, that's what it was, an indiscriminate attack. "Sorry, Mr Hector ..."
Hector snapped, "I don't want to be sorry, I just want to know how she got away?!"
How could Agnes, a patient and a woman, escape under so many guards?
Hector's mind quickly cleared and he forced himself to look at Marian.
Marian shuddered inside, Hector was too perceptive and the look in his eyes made her panic.
She settled down and forced her composure, "The last time she had an attack, it was so bad that I took her to the hospital for fear she would die."
Hector had said that Agnes could not die, he wanted her to live, to live as if she were dead.
As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Hector looked at her coldly.
Marian continued stiffly, "When we got to the hospital, I went to pay the bill and she woke up and snuck away."
She thought to herself that there was nothing broken in this statement.
Hector looked at Marian critically for a long time, finally averting his gaze as a cold sweat broke out on her back.
Marian breathed out softly, Hector's aura was too strong for her to handle, even after all the years she had been with him.
"Go and have someone find it!"
Hector gave the deadly order, "Until we get it back!"
Marian answered yes and then hesitated, "Mr Hector, that Agnes is very weak and sick, she shouldn't be able to make any waves, so why do we have to bring her back?" The seemingly unintentional question was really just a way to find out what was really going on inside Hector's mind.
Hector hooked the corners of his mouth, but there was no half smile in his eyes.
He said coldly, "As long as she's alive, as long as she's out there, she's a threat to Eloise, and I can't have any bit of danger around her."
Marian squeezed his palm hard.
For Eloise, again for Eloise!
What was she expecting, knowing that this was the outcome?
Marian's heart felt like it was being stabbed by a needle, but his face didn't show it.
"Understood, Mr Hector, I'll send for it immediately."
She was just about to turn to go out when Hector called out to her and said, evasively, "Marian, I don't want to surround myself with people who have too many hearts." It was a knockout phrase and a warning.
Marian's heart leapt and he squeezed out a smile.
"I know, I've been with you for so long that I know you can't put sand in your eyes, and I'll check up on the watchmen."
Hector gave her a deep look and waved her out.
Closing the door behind her, Marian's mouth curled into an icy smile.
Mr Hector, Mr Hector, when are you going to take your mind off the people around you?
If that Eloise hadn't been so annoying, I wouldn't have had to do such a thing.
In fact, Agnes hadn't been far away and Marian had sent someone to follow her wherever she went.
But she won't tell Hector.
Even Hector, as clever and perceptive as he is, would not have known the role she was playing in this, because she did it with aplomb.
In the beginning, she had deliberately run off to gas Agnes and provoke her to have a fit, just to have an excuse to get out of the place where she was imprisoned. Hector thought it through, and it was too difficult to get people out in a proper manner.
It's a good thing he didn't want Agnes to die so early, and that gave her the opportunity to take advantage of it.
Once the person arrives at the hospital, the chances are good that she can make it up any way she wants.
Hector proved to be a little suspicious but believed in the end.
Marian was a little smug, she had been with Hector for so long that she knew him more or less.
And Agnes was clever enough to fool the bouncers by actively cooperating with the doctors after she woke up in hospital and by pretending to be weak all the time.
She pretended to be asleep every day, making the bodyguards less alert but secretly watching for escape routes.
None of this was hidden from Marian's eyes, for it was all that Marian had hoped for and set up.
If Agnes doesn't take the bait herself, Marian has to find a way to coax her into it.
Luckily for Agnes, her desire to escape never subsided.
She was impressed by the fact that Agnes had come to this point and was still so thoughtful, she had really seen the right person.
It seems that Agnes' hatred for Eloise really runs deep.
The more she hated it, the happier Marian became.
She knew deep down that Agnes had nothing left now, only a hatred to sustain her.
If Agnes had been given the chance, she would have killed the man who had brought her to this point.
A person like Agnes, even if she is down and out, would never tolerate the person she hates to be better off than she is.
This is why, when Agnes hears Eloise's name, she is so excited and indignant that she faints.
She would have killed that man by any means possible.
This is exactly what Marian wants to see, two sisters dogging each other.
When the time comes for her to sit back and reap the benefits, I'm sure it will be a great time.
Marian hooks the corners of his mouth.
By creating an opportunity for Agnes to escape, it was known that she was still alive and would surely continue to hurt Eloise when the time came.
By the hand of Agnes, Eloise was killed.
The first few times Eloise got away with it, it was her luck and her life.
Marian doesn't believe one will always be that lucky.
Agnes is crazy, and besides she's at the end of her rope now.
Each time, it will fight with all its strength.
And Eloise is a normal person, and it's self-evident how normal people end up against crazy people.
Hopefully Agnes, that dumbass, will give it a go.
On Marian's face, a grim smile appeared.
A good show is about to take place.
Eloise I want you dead and buried!
