Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 755: Bringing Her Back
Thomas eased his car to a stop in the hospital car park, took out his mobile phone, found the number of the hospital director and dialled it. The dean said that the one who took care of Eloise before was really considered an old nurse with years of experience and was very solid. But she went back some time ago for a trip to her old home.
A day and a half after the transfer, a young one came in, Katerina.
It is said to be a trainee, but it is about time to turn up.
Although Eloise was considered an important patient, it wasn't expected that anything would slip through the cracks.
On this closer inspection, the HR department almost choked to death.
At that time, it was also said that it was a highly educated person who could be transferred to the clinical area in the future, and the recommender was a section chief, so I didn't give it much thought. Now when I look closely, the school does have this school, but when I call up and ask, they say that there is no such person in the freshman year.
A lot of things, a lot of people's CVs are like this, they like to fudge and just deal with it anyway and be done with it.
But it simply does not stand up to scrutiny, and when it does, it can poke holes in it.
It was clear that there was something wrong with this nurse who came out of nowhere.
Thomas thought that things were probably not as simple as they appeared and hastened to admonish, "This matter must not alarm the snake, lest she learn of the movement in advance." The dean knew that Hector's side was the one with the access and did not dare to ask or say more.
In any case, he was the one who was in the wrong and immediately agreed.
After hanging up with the dean, Thomas rushed to dial Hector's number.
"Mr Hector, got it, the nurse who looks after Miss Eloise is named Katerina, but her origins are a bit unknown, can't verify what she is for now, what's next?"
Hector sniffed and immediately ordered, "Bring someone to bring her back!"
"Yes, Mr Hector."
With that, Thomas hung up the phone.
But looking at the time, he also knew that now was not the time to make a move and had to wait.
Getting out of the car and going to the shops near the hospital, several flower shops and fruit shops were doing good business.
He waited ten minutes before buying a bouquet of lilies and a fruit basket and walking into the hospital, entering very naturally as any ordinary passer-by visiting the sick. Eloise's ward is in one of those small, separate buildings for wealthy people who want to recuperate in peace and quiet.
So too is the environment, clean and welcoming, with very little loud walking heard between the buildings.
The corridor was also covered with one of those soft sound-absorbing blankets, apparently to avoid too much noise from the medical staff running at breakneck speed. Each ward is at most a double room, with single rooms being more expansive.
The design of the floors is not very different from each other, except for the paintings on each floor, which look more like a gallery.
When he reached the Eloise level, Thomas went completely quiet and looked around the corner.
Make sure no one is around before whispering into the headset, "Observe your surroundings, don't reveal anything, and remember never to make a rash move."
A response soon came over the headset, each reporting their bearings.
Eleven and thirteen came up and made a catch for Thomas.
After first stepping on the hospital, several people hid themselves.
Later in the evening, as darkness fell, Thomas emerged from the darkness.
Gesturing with those around them, several people in the shadows nodded their heads.
At this time, the wall clock in the hallway ticked and Thomas looked up to see that it was six o'clock in the evening.
Six o'clock seemed to be the shift change time for the medical staff and the crowds became more crowded.
But everyone moves around in an orderly fashion and speaks softly and quietly.
Even the shoes they wear are those clean, nice flat soles, mostly the same style from the hospital.
Katerina was seen mingling with the group of nurses, laughing and joking as they came out together.
Upon seeing the target, Thomas whistled unconsciously low, then held his headset up again and said, "I'll scout the area, the rest of the guys stay put."
A more petite nurse faced Katerina and invited her with a smile, "We have a date for a barbecue at Green Jade Bay tonight, Katerina, why don't you come with us?" At those words, Katerina's eyes changed slightly.
She had more important tasks to do tonight, so naturally she could not travel with them.
So, one had to politely say, "I've been a bit on fire lately, I don't really want to eat barbecue, and I'm going to the movies, which I bought tickets for yesterday."
The other nurses said "Oh", but they didn't force themselves to stay, although they felt a bit sorry for them.
Smart adults should learn to leave space for others in their social life.
With a small smile, Katerina waved goodbye to the group of nurses and went down the other side of the stairs.
Thomas then came up this side of the stairs, pretending that nothing was wrong, and followed Katerina's lead.
With his hand on his headphones he whispered, "There's been a change of plan, we can follow."
Thomas gave the bouquet of lilies to a little nurse and told her to take them to Eloise's ward.
Eleven and Thirteen, who had followed them at the same time, gestured for them to follow them down.
Thomas frowned slightly as he saw Katerina change her clothes and walk out of the hospital.
She hailed a taxi from the roadside and got in.
Thomas was behind in a modest Honda, following quietly behind the taxi.
During this time Katerina seemed to turn around twice, but found nothing.
Seeing this, Eleven scratched his head and said, "Mr Thomas, there are not too many people and not too many cars on this road, so a hard chase will not be detected, right?" Thomas responded, looking at the empty road and a little afraid of revealing his identity.
Letting Thirteen off at the next intersection waiting for a red light, pretending to fling the umbrella without thinking.
A drop of tracker, finer than a water droplet, instantly stuck to the taxi.
Once success was established, Thomas pulled back a little on purpose.
to ensure that Katerina would not see his direct stalking again.
However, there was no guarantee that she would get out of the car halfway, so other officers were instructed to follow the car with a mock drone.
The drone is made to resemble a sparrow and is quite unassuming.
Powered by a solar and bio-energy duo, the clarity is not great, but sufficient if you track a person.
