Love Comes To Me
Chapter 781: Can't wait to get away from me?

Eloise followed him, secretly gauging his demeanour, vaguely feeling that something was wrong.

Hector seems to be hiding something from her.

When she got into the car, Hector subconsciously came over to fasten her seat belt.

Eloise tugged at his coat and yanked the man to a halt.

The moment he was pulled back, Hector looked up at Eloise suspiciously, "Hmm?"

Warm, crisp breath sweeps across Eloise's cheeks.

"What's wrong with you? Not feeling very happy." Eloise looked at Hector worriedly.

Hector was stunned for a moment and then shook his head, "No really?"

Unbelieving, Eloise probed to look him in the eye.

Hector looked at Eloise, who was close at hand, and his mind wandered, that fear of loss instantly tumbling up. "I'm worried about you."

Hector's thin lips parted and his dark voice haunted Eloise's ears.

At this point Hector was like a child, the worry and fear in his eyes showing through.

Eloise's nose tingled and she unconsciously reached around Hector, "Don't worry, I'll be fine, for sure!"

Like Hector comforting her, he said the same thing he had said countless times.

She was comforting him, and herself.

The hand brushes up against Hector's shoulder, patting it lightly to give him some strength.

The next second, Hector took her directly into his arms.

Infected by his emotions, Eloise felt a little sour for a moment.

After a moment of hugging, Hector took hold of her shoulders and his eyes looked at her seriously, "Eloise, I will not let anything happen to you." At these words, Eloise nodded heavily.

Hector then started the car and headed straight back to Rogers Villa.

Still unsure of Eloise's health, Hector pondered for a moment and asked, "Eloise, would you like to quit your job and recuperate at home for a while?" Eloise froze.

She didn't really think about quitting and coming back.

Because there was not much of a reaction, she usually rarely remembered the germs in her body.

But lately, she seems to be getting physically exhausted.

After a brief pause, Eloise nodded her head in agreement.

She was not obsessed with work, not that she had to drag her unwell body to work and worry the people she cared about for nothing. Hector was relieved to see that she agreed.

Darlington Group Winery.

"Mr. Rowson, I would like to resign from the job in hand for the time being." Eloise sat across from Rowson and stated her intentions.

Rowson's grip on the paperwork was slackened, the smile on his face faded, and his dark, dark eyes stared soberly at Eloise. "Resignation? Why?"

She did not say outright that there was something wrong with her health, after all, Hector had instructed before.

Eloise said vaguely, "Just feeling a bit tired and wanting to take some time off."

It dawned on Rowson and he quickly said, "It was an oversight on my part, I'll get you another position right away."

Rowson can't help but feel a little remorseful at the thought of her now being the planning director for the entire winery.

Busy trying to dial the intercom, Eloise saw this and quickly blocked it, "No! It's not that I'm tired from work, don't you put me in another position, I don't want to do anything right now, I just want to spend quality time with Sweety." Rowson stopped moving and looked at Eloise, asking softly, "Can't you not resign? I'll transfer you to be my assistant.

Don't have to do anything, just print out papers for me or something as company, is that okay?"

He lowered his stance to an almost supplicatory tone.

Eloise is silent for a moment, shaking her head.

Seeing that she was determined not to stay, Rowson suddenly understood something and stared at her with a haze in his eyes.

He sneered, "Rest is fake, wanting to leave the Darlington Group is real, isn't it, Eloise, you're that desperate to get away from me?"

Eloise looked at him with a stunned, puzzled look.

"No, Rowson, what makes you think that?"

"Why shouldn't I think so, do the math, how long has it been since you've been home, oh, now Hector's is your home, isn't it, the Darlington family is nothing, you can't wait to get rid of that liability in a hurry."

The more Rowson spoke, the angrier he became, raising his hand and waving all the papers on his desk to the floor.

The look on his face completely stunned Eloise, staring blankly at the man fuming across the room.

She hadn't seen Rowson like this before, he had always been extremely well mannered and had never lost his cool.

She tried to explain, "No, I ..."

Rowson interrupted her, catching his breath sharply. "Okay, so let me ask you, how long is the break? When can I come back to work? You say it, and I'll say yes."

Eloise doesn't know when the germs in her body will be eliminated and can't answer these questions.

In the face of Rowson's aggression, her only response was silence.

But Rowson pressed on. "What, you can't answer that? Is that what you meant to do, or is that what Hector meant!"

Eloise looked at the complete stranger in front of her and frowned, "Don't you pull Hector, it's none of his business."

At that, Rowson snorted a laugh.

"What kind of ecstasy did Hector give you to make you listen to him so much that you would end your relationship with the Darlington family!"

Eloise, who was about to explain, suddenly got a bit cold-hearted when she heard this.

Rowson can't listen to anything she says now.

In that case, why should she have to explain.

It was just a little hard for her to understand why Rowson was the way he was.

After a long silence, Eloise stood up and said disconsolately, "You're in a bad mood, calm down, I'll go first."

With that, she pulled open the door to her office and walked out.

Only a few steps out, there was a sudden crackling sound in the office, as if something had been pushed over.

Eloise paused in her steps and left without looking back.

...

In the car park, a black luxury car barreled out, nearly hitting other cars and scaring the owner into backing up and avoiding them in a hurry. Rowson grimaced, unconcerned, and continued to press the accelerator furiously.

He was holding a fire in his heart that he couldn't send out and just wanted to destroy the sky and the earth.

The black limousine sped along, eventually stopping at the bar he frequented, and Rowson slammed the door shut, striding into the bar.

Seeing Rowson's impressive appearance, a woman approached him and struck up a conversation.

"This gentleman..."

"Get out of the way!"

Rowson pushed the woman close to him and stumbled, his face as horrible as Hades from hell. The people next to you have taken shelter.

Asking for the strongest wine, Rowson didn't even use a glass and blew directly into the bottle.
