Chapter 87: Meeting the Parents

Rupert Rogers saw Eloise Thompson's concern and after some thought spoke up, "I'll go over and get my brother then, you wait here for a while."

Eloise Thompson was just about to say no when Hector Rogers over there seemed to see them and he came over with Solomon in his arms.

At the sight of Eloise Thompson, the youngster's otherwise cool face burst into a smile as he broke away from Hector Rogers and then ran at a stride towards Eloise Thompson. Eloise Thompson rushed to catch it, fearing he would fall.

Solomon was so happy that he opened his mouth and shouted, "Auntie Eloise you're here, Solomon's been waiting for you for ages."

Eloise Thompson took him in her arms, smiled and said, "Yes! Here we go, Happy Birthday Solomon!"

"Thanks Auntie Eloise! Solomon had a great time and a great time."

As the two men spoke, Hector Rogers also approached.

He surveyed Eloise Thompson and spoke, "This gown suits you."

Rupert Rogers, with his arms around him, spoke up from the sidelines, "My brother picked out this dress just for you!"

It was the first time in his life that Rupert Rogers had seen his brother help a woman pick out her clothes.
