hapter 436 Only Him, The Ex-husband, Didn't Know The whole school knew Caleb was pursuing Clarissa. The moment he did that, the students all understood his actions.

The whole gym was in an uproar. Everyone was cheering and whistling at Clarissa. Neil was shocked. He asked Damien, "Daddy, what's going on?"

Damien looked straight ahead, but said nothing. Lisa shouted excitedly at Clarissa, "Why don't you just say yes?" "Say yes to what?" Clarissa was distracted, so she was slow to react. She was still thinking about Connie's sudden appearance in her life.

"Go out with him!" Lisa shrieked, covering her mouth in excitement. She was so excited that she was in tears.

Her son was watching! "Mr. Lawrence! Let's have a meal together after this, shall we?" Caleb said to Damien in the back row, smiling Clarissa gaped, shocked. Her mind was empty. She watched Neil walking toward her. 'Damien won't agree to go to dinner with Caleb. He won't.'

"What? I can't hear you. Say it over dinner," Caleb teased with a smile.

"I'm not going," Clarissa said. "Just come with us. Come on!" Caleb insisted, taking Clarissa's hand. At this moment, he was a spirited young man oozing hormones and charm.

Clarissa tried to break away, but the students who had dispersed from the crowd saw their hands. Almost all of them thought the two had got together. Clarissa closed her eyes. Damien's words struck Clarissa hard. He seemed to be implying that Clarissa caught a young man's interest despite being older. He seemed to be calling her a hypocrite, too.
