Love Is Bad, By All Means -
Chapter 30 You have always been Mine
"Jeremy, I want to take my father away from here. Can you help me?"
As soon as Emma was sure Will left. She called Jeremy, standing at the window in the bedroom, solemnly.
"I come over now."
Jeremy agreed immediately.
Although he had no idea what she was planning, since Will came back, Emma had always some odd behaviors too.
After the call, he rushed downstairs with car key in his hand.
Emma put the phone on the table at her side and opened the wardrobe to collect her clothes.
Her father her the noise and rolled his wheel chair over to ask.
"Why are you packing? Are you going on a business trip?"
"Dad, we need to stay with Jeremy for a while. A lot of things happened in the company, and I have no time to take good care of you. It will make me feel better if you stay there." Emma couldn't find any other excuse but to explain to her father in a simpler way.
Her father didn't say anything but returned to his room.
He noticed something went wrong, but since it was something between her and Will, it was up to them to solve the problems, as he did what he could.
In a short time, all the luggage were ready.
Suzie was in a fog and kept on asking around Emma.
"Miss, do you really leave in such a hurry? Is it because my dishes was awful? Or did I do something wrong? I can change..."
Emma put down what she was busy with and held Suzie's shoulders, sincerely.
"Suzie, we only leave for a while, not forever. We will come back. Don't worry. You didn't do anything wrong."
Jemery parked at the door already.
"Uncle, how are you..."
He walked in the door and greeted her father. Then he put all the luggage in the trunk.
"Dad, let's go!"
Emma had a last look at the house after everything was settled. She pushed the wheel chair to the car.
Jeremy carried her father carefully onto the back seat. As soon as the car doors closed, a tall strong person showed up in front of him.
What a coincident! Will came back, who knew when. As soon as he saw them in Jeremy's car, he got extremely upset.
"Are you afraid of me like that? I won't do anything to you. Why must you leave?
Jeremy pulled Emma behind him.
"Don't you know the reason? I hope you won't come to mess with us two!"
"You two? When did it become "you two?"
Will lifted his eyes and grabbed her arm, uncompromisingly, trying to pull her to his side. The pull and push around made Emma totally annoyed. "Jeremy, I warn you, you are a person with fiancée. I warned you don't mess with me wife..."
"Who's your wife..."
Shortly after her words, she realized she was taken advantage and stared at the man angrily.
"If it works, I will cancel the engagement. Emma, do you want to go with me or stay here?"
Jeremy gathered his courage to speak out, as he was unwilling to say his beloved one was taken in this way.
He lost her once, and he wouldn't let it happen again, especially to this man who betrayed her before.
The air was frozen. Both men were looking at Emma simultaneously. It seemed they were waiting for her response. "I'll go with you..."
She lowered her head slowly. Her head was about to explode with all the memories flashing in her head.
Thinking of the humiliation before, she wouldn't like to go back to the previous life. At last, she walked towards Jeremy's car.
"You should leave. We will never be together. I don't want you to show up in my life anymore!"
"Impossible. You didn't mean it! You are still in love with me. Our love cannot be wiped off so easily. I don't believe you will leave me..."
Will shouted. He couldn't hold his anger and hit heavily on Jeremy's face, and then snatched Emma over.
"What are you doing? Are you mad?
She was in panic but still wanted to see how Jeremy was, hit to the ground.
But in a second her arm was pulled against to the wall, which she couldn't escape. The next she felt the warmth on her lips.
She lifted her hand to strike his chest, but it was like the rain falling on Will's chest only, useless.
She felt hotter and hotter all over her body beyond her control, and then stuck in his embrace.
Her father put on a smile on his face when he saw this. By all means, it was the better outcome. In the moment Will treated his daughter much better.
