Love Is Bad, By All Means -
Chapter 33 I Will Die with Him
The doctor shook his head, dim light in his eyes.
"The patient is suffering the huge bleeding from the internal organs. It was delayed when he was sent to the hospital. What we can do now is to see if he can pull through tonight. However, I think you should all get prepared!" "What did you say? Impossible. He wouldn't leave me like this..."
Emma didn't want to believe what happened. She was gripping the doctor's clothes to stop him from leaving, eyes red.
"Let me see him. Where is he now?"
Will was pushed out from the operation room afterwards. He was still on the air tube, pale.
"Emma, calm down!"
Jeremy held her waist from behind. If let her continue like this, she could turn the hospital upside down.
"Let me go. I don't believe. I want to see him..."
Emma was tried her best to get out of his hand, kneeling at the sickbed. She was crying.
"Didn't you say you would be with me forever? Why didn't you say something? How can you leave me alone?"
She was holding Will with her arms, not letting anyone touch him, even Jeremy.
"Family member? We need to send him to the ward."
The nurse was in dilemma. But her words seemed like void to Emma
"Emma, stop it!"
Jeremy couldn't take it anymore. Nobody could return to life after death. He hoped Emma could understand it and get herself together.
"I said don't touch him. Get out, all of you!"
Dead silence.
"Don't you worry you will be alone in the heavy. I will come to accompany you. I will go with you. We will be together forever!"
After her words, she had a look at the wall beside her, smiling and bumped with her head against the wall.
"Stop!"
Even though Jeremy stretched his hand as fast as possible to grab her, he was a bit late. He saw her bumping into the wall and then falling back with blood on her forehead. "What are you standing there for? Come to save her!"
The doctors and nurses were all shocked, standing still. If Jeremy didn't shout, they wouldn't come back to their senses to take action.
When Emma woke up, it was the noon time in two days. Her head was wrapped like a mummy, lying in bed still.

She opened her eyes, asking in husky voice. The first name came to her mind was Will. For a moment, the incident happened to Will was like yesterday.
"Don't move. The doctor said you need to have a good rest!"
Jeremy was at her sickbed for 3 whole days without sleeping. But the first thing she asked about was Will upon waking up.
He took the blanket over to cover her gently, and tried not to look at her. Emma took his hand suddenly and asked again.
"I don't know how to tell you about it. Anyways, people who passed away won't relive."
Suddenly, tears damped her eyes.
"Why did you save me? Why didn't you let me go with him?"
Emma seemed to blame Jeremy.
"Do you think I can see you abandon your elder father to follow Will? Have you ever thought about your father?"
Jeremy made it clear, but in Emma's view, a world without Will meant nothing but unbearable pain to her.
"What do you want me to do without him?"
Emma dared not to think of going home to see all the scenes where he was. She even dared not to get up the bed.
"Don't say so. You still have me. I will be with you always!"
Jeremy did his best. He knew the result, but he accompanied Emma by not thinking too much of himself.
Emma turned away, speechless.
The second morning after they were back to the house. Jeremy accompanied her to finalized all the discharge procedure at the hospital. As to the things regarding Will, Jeremy said he would take care of everything. "Thank you for sending me home."
Emma looked fragile, but she thanked Jeremy softly. She didn't want to owe him much for what happened recent days. After all, she felt guilty as far as Jeremy was concerned.
"Call me if anything pops up. Don't shoulder everything by yourself!"
Jeremy kept her informed of all the details and then left.
The old house was still the same. Her father's wheel chair was there with the back to her. As soon as the door was opened, he turned the chair around to look at her gently. "Dad!"
Emma ran to kneel at her father's chair. Probably, it was the only way she could feel a bit better.
"It's okay, it's okay! Everything will be over. I am confident that you are the strongest!"
His warm hand was consoling her back, again and again.
