Lusting For Ralph -
Chapter 12
What the hell happened?
Ralph was feeling pain throughout his body. He was having difficulty breathing, the air somehow felt thicker. Then he startled himself when he remembered what happened and what took him.
He looked at his surroundings and relaxed when he couldn't find the demon that had just taken him to what he knows to be another dimension.
"F**k, how am I going to get out of here?" he started talking to himself when he saw that he was deep in the dark woods, the tall line of trees made it even darker.
Ralph got the chills when he heard branches snapped from behind him but couldn't see anyone or even anything. The darkness was all there was behind him. He cursed as he tried to calm himself down, but then he heard a growling sound from his right side. And all he could hear was his heartbeat pounding too f*****g hard for him to listen to anything else.
"Damn it!"
He took a deep breath and move his legs one step at a time. He was trying hard to convince himself that he would find away out of the woods though he perfectly knows that he was in another dimension and he didn't know how the hell he was going to get himself back.
The frustrations started creeping up, sweat was trickling down his forehead. The dark forest was damp and suddenly made him suffocates. That was when he decided to stop and relax, he was counting sheep, thinking about school, his sexy neighbor Madison and that was when he tugged his lips upwards and able to breathe easily.
He started walking, and walking, and walking, he looked at his watch and saw that he has been walking for three hours straight but the forest looked the same. He even thought that he had passed the low crooked branch at least two times already. The chills were back but he was persistent and kept on walking until he finally saw what looked like an old abandoned house.
"Well, it couldn't get any more creepy than that." He started talking to himself to break the eerie silence of the dark forest. But his steps were steady when he kept on walking towards the abandoned building.
The feel of the house was as creepy as the outside. It looked like an old family estate, the exterior was dingy though it must've been very grand at its golden years Ralph thought. He was able to find an entry through one of the broken windows. The first thing he looked at when he reached the inside was the kitchen because he was thirsty and couldn't find any source of water for almost four hours of walking.
But like all old buildings and houses, he was feeling their energy already. And at that time Ralph was almost drained from the long walk before. He finally fainted when a large back shadow was coming closer to him and the entity sucked dry his energy. Meanwhile, back at the clinic, Walter was stressing himself out trying to find ways to find one of his best friends. Ralph was right, he shouldn't have pushed him with the summoning it has been a while for him, he should've known better. "Walter, stop blaming yourself. I know where your thoughts are heading. I should be at fault here, I should not underestimate the demon. Keep the sage burning, I'm going to call for Rain."
Shani was glad to find that Rain was not with his beloved king, or she would need more effort to contact him.
It wasn't long until Rain joined them, and since that last half, an hour Gaby had tried to make Walter calmed down.
"Damn it, why didn't I think of that earlier?!"
"Walter, do you still want us to find Ralph? stop blaming yourself." Shani was upset when Rain came up with the idea to contact his ghost friend Suzy.
While the were-witch-man Rain was staying away from their little quarrel and keep on talking to Gaby as he was trying to find out more about Ralph. Rain was trying to find the best way to get him out of the other dimension.
"Look, now that we know how to get him out we need to know where the ugly demon took him to, so I need your head in on this Walt. I might have some clue but we need to find the exact one before we send someone there with Suzy. Yes, I know that someone will be you."
Shani was getting heated on her words and that was when Walter finally backed down. He said that he was sorry and then everything was carried on calmly.
Fifteen minutes later Shani and Walter had agreed on the demon and they have an Idea where that said demon took Ralph. Rain had confirmed that only Suzy and one other human can go there unseen and since he's a werewolf so that was a no for him. But as expected Walt was the first to step in and both witches agreed to him.
"Here, when you've found Ralph bring him back to the place you both arrived. Try to remember the fine-looking details of the area near the portal or you're going to go to another dimension instead of ours. After that when you're sure, spread this dust as a sign and we will handle the rest." Walt nodded when Rain gave him a small old looking pouch that was filled with the magic dust.
"Okay so, we need to get Suzy here and explain to her about Ralph's situation. Walt, she knows you already so you hold the seance..." Both Rain and Shani were methodically moving their stuff from the dining table then all sat down and start the seance with Walter leading the group as they called Suzy the suicidal ghost.
"No...not Ralph," Suzy looked sad as she played with the ties that bind to her neck nervously.
"I know, look Suzy we're going to get him back. I will go with you and you will shield me from the entities there, we need to find him fast. It has been a couple of hours and time tends to pass a lot quicker there..." "Right, Ralph... okay, Suzy will go with Walter." The teenage ghost looked at him then hovered closer to him, while Shani was busy chanting and Rain circled both of them with the burning sage.
Then the portal finally opened as it showed them the opening to the dark forest. The eerie surroundings were felt instantly, and Shani gently ushered Walter to hold out his hand to Suzy and let her aura surrounds him. Suzy was silent and let Rain nudged both of them into the portal.
Walter couldn't hear anything, the white noise he heard at the clinic previously was gone the moment they stepped into the dark forest and the portal closes behind them. He could feel that several beings were lurking at Suzy, they were getting close to her when he whispered to Suzy to keep close to him and pace herself faster.
That said, she took it literally almost leaving him behind, and uncover his disguise. Luckily she looked back and noticed her mistake. She smiled shyly like teenage girls would and levitates slowly beside him, disguising him from the entities resides in that forest. But both stopped after about an hour later when they finally saw the abandoned house.
"There, he must've gone there," Walt whispered while she followed his words and they both go to the path of the house.
Walt could see Ralph's footprint on the damp ground then its smudges by the edge of the broken window. He decided to follow Ralph's footsteps while Suzy easily went thru the wall. She let out a little giggle when he almost fell, it made him shushed her when he suddenly felt a very dark and negative entity was nearing both of them.
Then he startled himself when he saw Ralph was lying on the floor. Suzy almost leaves him behind when she quickly went to his side, but then Walter picks up his pace and matched his speed with Suzy's. The young man looked lifeless, but Ralph let out his voice when he saw Suzy's face hovering inches above his.
"You really need to learn more about personal space. This is too close Suzy..."
Suzy smiled widely when Ralph was slowly regaining his consciousness.
"....wait Suzy? f**k! am I dead? Walt? damn it, are you dead too?"
Walt was glad to see him sitting up and giving a reaction to them. But Walt could feel the hair on the back of his neck raises when the dark entity was coming closer. "Come on, we need to get out of here. I'll explain later."
