Tobias secretly apologized to Christian in his heart.

He really needed Christian to forgive him for what he was about to do.

He approached, intending to lift Christian's arm. However, his arm was unusually heavy, as if he were intentionally pressing it down with force.

Tobias winced in pain.

Anastasia was still waiting by the door for them to leave.

Tobias bit his lip, contemplating lifting Christian from the front. Although Tobias wasn't as strong as him, he managed to drag Christian out of Anastasia's doorway.

Christian's entire body leaned heavily to the side, and Tobias had no choice but to release his grip.

But the next second,

Anastasia shut the door, locking them outside.

Christian slowly opened his eyes.

He locked gazes with Tobias for a few seconds, and Tobias could sense his raging anger, as if he wanted to strangle him.

He nervously explained, "Anastasia, she threatened me..."

But Tobias had to admit that Anastasia had kept her secret well.

And once again, he was impressed.

Christian nonchalantly adjusted his clothes and gave a cold snort. Without saying a word, he turned around and entered the elevator.

"Christian, the car is waiting outside..."

Early the next morning.

Steve arrived at Tobias's neighbourhood with some documents.

Tobias saw him from the car and waved happily, "Steve, why are you here? Did Christian sleep well last night?"

In fact, he just wanted to ask if Christian had cooled down!

Steve smiled as he approached, handing over a check and a key, "Mr. Patterson instructed me to give these to you." Tobias was puzzled, not knowing why he had suddenly received an award.

"That's very kind of him..."

He glanced at the check, which was worth 20 million dollars.

Besides, the key seemed to be for some exclusive villa district.

"Mr. Patterson wants you to take the money and move as soon as possible. He will move into your apartment today." Tobias was speechless.

Early in the morning, Anastasia went to the company.

Thinking about last night how restlessly she had slept, she felt quite annoyed.

So, she called her family.

"I'll be staying at home for a while."

In the afternoon, it was getting hot.

Anastasia and Jaxon returned from the set and decided to go for coffee together.

Jaxon had booked a semi-private booth in advance, with delicate screens that provided just the right amount of privacy.

Jaxon was relaxed and easygoing, his gaze gentle as he looked at her.

"Anastasia, if you ever start acting, you'll be better than anyone!"

Anastasia smiled, "Actually, acting is quite tiring."

Jaxon nodded, then thought of something and handed her a business card.

"This is from a medical research lab of a friend of mine abroad. They've developed a new device that stimulates brainwaves, specifically for elderly people. It can wake up individuals who have been in a vegetative state for years.

"I thought of Mr. Patterson's grandparents, but it's a bit embarrassing for me to bring it up to him.

"If you think it's worth trying, you might suggest Mr. Patterson look into it."

Anastasia was moved and couldn't hide her excitement. Her eyes gleamed with joy.

"That's amazing. They've always been in a vegetative state, so I've been quite worried. If there's a treatment specifically for the elderly, that would be fantastic!"

She had learned that the longer elderly people remained in a coma, the worse their chances of recovery became. There was a real risk of them deteriorating to the point of no return.

But now, she saw a glimmer of hope.

"However, don't mention my name, or Mr. Patterson might misunderstand my intentions. I was just passing it along. After all, my friend wants to make money, and Mr. Patterson could bring him great benefit!" Anastasia burst into laughter.

What Jaxon had said was indeed accurate.

As they were conversing, the wind chimes at the entrance rang. Anastasia looked up and saw Beatrice and Romy coming in together.
