"Ouch! Geez!" A man was groaning while clutching his stomach and staggering into Cunningham Pharmaceuticals with the help of his wife. "Honey, just hang on a little longer. I'll help you get your justice."

After setting her husband down on the steps, the woman rolled up her sleeves before bellowing, "The people inside this bogus pharmacy! Come out this instance!"

Her loud voice immediately attracted the attention of the passersby. Although they did not know what had happened, they were led over by their curiosity.

Meanwhile, inside the store, Ocean had just finished cleaning up the place and was shocked by the scream. She did not know what was happening, but she knew that even if it were just a trivial matter, the woman's screams would still cause a scene, so she immediately hinted at the employee behind her with her eyes and headed outside.

"Hello, madam. How may I be of assistance?"

As soon as she saw someone coming out of the store, the woman instantly lunged at Ocean like a lunatic and grabbed her collar. "You're a bogus pharmacy! My husband was merely suffering from a mild cold yesterday but began having serious abdominal pain after taking the medicine you sold him. Now, he's even vomiting!"

As soon as her words fell, the man on the steps played along and wretched like he was about to vomit. Along with his ashen face drenched in a cold sweat, he gave others the impression that he was seriously ill.

On the other hand, Helen was busy checking the store's inventory inside the storeroom when an employee barged in.

"President Freeman, something happened! People are causing a scene outside, saying that we're a bogus pharmacy, and it attracted a crowd!"

This was the situation all pharmacies feared because businesses would inherently deteriorate after such a commotion.

Putting down her pen and paper, Helen immediately rushed over.

When she came to the store entrance, she saw the woman hugging her husband while wailing, "Oh, honey, what's the matter with you? Please be okay. How do you expect me and our daughter to continue with our lives if something were to happen to you? This wretched bogus pharmacy. How could you do this to us?"

By then, the husband was already on the floor, struggling with continuous convulsions.

Helen noticed that she had seen the couple in the store yesterday. She could remember them because they were arguing inside the store due to some petty things.

At that moment, someone from the crowd screamed, "This bogus pharmacy is selling fake drugs to kill others."

Afterward, the crowd began to chatter continuously.

"This is a pharmacy run by Cunningham Group, right? I heard something notorious had previously happened there."

"Really?"

"Of course. My husband used to work there and heard that a lot of money had been scammed by the company when they opened the pharmacy. Look, they're now selling fake drugs that almost killed a life." "You're right. Those who sell fake drugs are so despicable. It can easily ruin a family!"

Under the deliberate sedition of someone within the crowd, the bystanders became even more irritated and began inching forward.

Despite knowing that her drugs were genuine, Helen was at a loss of action as she knew she was incapable to deal with this matter by herself. As such, she abided by the rule of contacting Matthew whenever there was a problem and dialed his number before telling him everything that was happening.

Later, Matthew asked her to take a picture of the scene and send it to him. When he opened the image, he did not even need to study it carefully to know that the man was not poisoned but had ingested a small amount of chlorine.

Chlorine is generally used to treat water, so it's relatively safe if someone ingests it in small amounts. The person will only break out in cold sweat, which looks terrifying, but that guy is fine. Moreover, he also shows other symptoms of chlorine poisoning.

As he thought of that, he concluded that the couple was deliberately causing a commotion at the pharmacy.
