Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 2721 Forcefully Opening the Blind Box
After getting rid of the watch camouflaged as a locator, Matthew tossed it onto the hospital bed.
"This cutting-edge device is truly remarkable."
Ever since he stumbled upon the mysterious black box's clues in the investigation report, he had been pondering its whereabouts. However, while examining Solon's injuries, his attention was drawn to the flashing watch on Solon's wrist. That was when Matthew thought of the locator.
Solon reached out and picked up the watch. Then, he examined the counterfeit timepiece in his hand, leaving him utterly bewildered.
"Let me open it and see what's inside. Surprisingly, this gadget can stir up such a frenzy among tycoons and billionaires."
The crown prince brought a toolbox and attempted to open the black box in front of him. However, no matter what he did, the seamless black box didn't open. Even when he used an ax and a chainsaw, all it did was make sparks, and the black box stayed closed.
"Matty..."
"Why is everyone staring at me? It's my first time dealing with this thing, too," Matthew exclaimed.
After his words, all eyes in the room shifted toward Solon.
"Don't look at me. I'm just as helpless. Each generation of the mysterious black box is different. Even the Keller Family doesn't know how to open it."
The crown prince furrowed his brow and inquired, "How did the previous owners manage to open it, then?"
Confronted by his archenemy, the crown prince, Solon unwittingly found himself compelled to be truthful. "No one knows except those directly involved. Luck seems to play a role. Some individuals have possessed the black box for more than a decade without successfully unlocking its secrets."
He continued, "But some have resorted to violence to crack it open!"
This was indeed the reality. Certain influential factions had invested a considerable sum in enlisting an advanced grandmaster to open the box forcefully. Despite successfully opening it, the priceless ancient Biscuit technique contained within was irreparably damaged.
Consequently, this family and the grandmaster became a laughingstock in Seraphis. It appeared that the grandmaster had completely fallen out with the force.
If Matthew opted for a violent approach, it would provide quite the spectacle.
"And besides, had I known how to open it, I wouldn't have tossed it into the sea."
Observing Solon's apparent honesty, Matthew drew out his Bloodreaper. "Everyone, take a step back!"
Following a swing of his sword, the entire table promptly crumbled into powder. The substantial recoil left his arm numbed, yet the black box remained intact. "D*mn, it's so sturdy?"
Disdainfully eyeing Matthew, Solon observed his futile attempt to cut open the black box with a broken sword. This endeavor was in vain, given that bullets couldn't penetrate it, and bombs couldn't break it. It was nothing more than wishful thinking.
The crown prince knew how sharp Bloodreaper was, as he was the one who had originally given it to Matthew. However, the black box before him unexpectedly proved to be so resilient that not even an ancient divine weapon could break it.
"Let me give it another shot. The rest of you, step back!"
Following his words, Matthew channeled the nimbus within his body, gathering it in his palm. A brilliant flash and a loud sound reverberated through the house, causing it to tremble as if experiencing an earthquake.
Once the dust settled, a hole with a diameter exceeding ten feet emerged in the ground. Within this half-meter-deep cavity, the indestructible black box was finally split in half.
"What sort of power is this?" Solon gaped at the figure of Matthew before him, bewildered. Was this Matthew's genuine strength?
And what in the world was that sword-so incredibly sharp! As his gaze returned to the long sword in Matthew's grasp, a fiery intensity ignited in Solon's eyes.
Solon harbored a mix of envy and shock within him. He found some solace only in the ruthless dismantling, a process that had probably obliterated everything inside the black box.
