Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 2776 Loving Couple

"Indeed, I also believe that honesty is a virtue," Matthew replied casually before changing the subject.

"Your Highness, the tea you brew is truly exquisite. It's hard to achieve such a level of success without decades of practice."

Gadel smiled faintly as a hint of pride appeared on his face the instant Matthew brought this up. "It's nothing but a hobby. I've dabbled in it when I have nothing else to do!"

Then, he continued, "This tea is a rare treasure exclusive to Montiria. The annual production of this particular tea leaf is only about 22 lbs. Mr. Summit Warden, allow me to invite you to have a taste!" Gadel promptly slid the tea cup in front of Matthew.

The two men enjoyed their tea in the tea room. Despite their initial probing, neither party gained any valuable information about the other.

However, Matthew didn't expect that Prince Gadel, as a prince of a country, would personally serve him tea.

Of course, this only meant that whatever the prince was after, it was definitely not something simple. If he could lower himself so readily despite his high status, it only indicated that his ambitions were far greater than Matthew had imagined. Judging from Gadel's initiative and his current actions, Matthew was certain that his suspicions were confirmed.

Gadel finally brought up the main topic after exchanging a few pleasantries.

"Mr. Larson, the main reason I invited you here this time is because I need your aid to help me solve a difficult problem."

Gadel brought their relationship closer with just one sentence.

Naturally, Matthew didn't forget himself just because the other party had decided to be so amicable.

"Your Highness, please feel free to confide in me. I will definitely do my best to aid you as long as it is within my power to do so."

The basic meaning went along the lines of, "I'll help if it's something I can do. However, if you're here to make me help you get your *ss on the throne after just one meeting, you can forget it!"

Gadel poured him another cup of tea before saying, "I'm afraid this is something only you can do, Mr. Larson. My wife seems to be unwell, and we haven't been able to conceive a child after all this time. This has troubled me for a long time. So, I'm here to ask you for help. I'll owe you a favor if you can help me resolve this."

Compared to monetary rewards, favors were obviously far more significant, especially when it was a favor owed by a prince. Fortunately, this was precisely what Matthew was aiming for. Nonetheless, he didn't agree to Gadel's proposal immediately.

"Your Highness, you're being too polite. I dare not make any guarantees before diagnosing my patient!"

Gadel instantly understood the hidden meaning in his words. "Mr. Larson, please wait a moment!"

After that, he reached out and pressed a device that was used by the royal family to give instructions to their staff before speaking, "Summon the princess consort to my study!"

They only needed to wait for four to five minutes when they heard someone knocking on the study's door.

As the door swung open, Princess Fiorenna sauntered in with her elegant and graceful figure. When she passed by Matthew, she even shot a flirtatious glance at him.

Matthew simply arched an eyebrow in intrigue when faced with Princess Fiorenna's provocative behavior.

This made Gadel look rather sheepish.

"Nana, Mr. Larson is the new Holy Doctor of Cathay that I was talking about the other day. He's not a stranger!"

Princess Fiorenna immediately understood what Gadel was trying to say, especially after his emphasis that Matthew was on their side. He was obviously telling her that there was no need to keep putting up an act.

Princess Fiorenna's face instantly turned red with embarrassment as her demeanor became dignified and elegant. Clearly, that was her true nature.

On the other hand, Matthew couldn't help but hold an even higher opinion of this princess. In order to cover up for her husband, the normally gentle and elegant beauty had disguised herself as a seductive and flirtatious woman. It had truly been hard on her to disguise herself as such.

"Princess Consort, there's no need to be embarrassed. Prince Gadel is fortunate to have you by his side."

The awkward atmosphere at the scene eased a great deal after Matthew spoke.

Princess Fiorenna looked at Matthew gratefully and nodded.

"Mr. Larson, you really do have a way with words. I can't help but wonder how many ladies have fallen for you!"

Matthew didn't see the point in being modest. So, he simply accepted her praise. After all, what she said was true. He didn't see the need to argue against it.

"Nana, I might get jealous if you keep singing his praises!"

Gadel had wrapped an arm around her shoulder, forcing Matthew to witness their lovey-dovey interactions.
