Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3120 A Personal Visit

Overwhelmed with rage, King Gawain I coughed up a deep crimson blood clot, leaving his face ghastly pale.

"Father!" Iris was horrified, rushing forward to feed King Gawain I the last pill with a spoon, easing his condition slightly, but disappointment clouded his expression heavily. He hadn't expected his most outstanding sons, Toby and Garrett, to act so foolishly. "Iris, summon... cough... summon your two brothers, along with all the ministers, to the court."

King Gawain I's weary voice resonated as Iris hurried off.

Within half an hour, Toby returned dusty and disheveled. Garrett emerged from his studies in the palace, and all the ministers stood in the court. Among them was Zedran, who had returned from the border, seeming to anticipate his own fate as he stood motionless with closed eyes, meditating.

"Today, I have gathered you all here primarily for three matters. First, Minister of Border Affairs, speak."

King Gawain I's eyes filled with authority as he gazed at Zedran among the crowd, calmly walked forward without any hint of panic, nor did he kneel before King Gawain I.

"I believe that Matthew's killing of Prince Hayes, the abandoned prince of Montiria, is a heinous crime that must be avenged."

The court erupted in disbelief at Zedran's statement, staring at him and King Gawain I in utter shock.

The king looked down at Zedran, a smile creeping onto his face. "Hahaha, it seems our Minister of Border Affairs has been addled by war. Take him to a nursing home to spend his remaining years in peace. Don't let him labor any further."

The courtiers shuddered, realizing that with just a few words, King Gawain I had dismissed the powerful Minister of Border Affairs from his post and placed him under house arrest. Truly, the majesty of the king had not diminished over the years. Zedran was escorted away by guards without resistance, silently gazing into King Gawain I's eyes. His gaze carried a whirlwind of emotions-pity, hatred, friendship-all ultimately devolving into chaos. "Prince Garrett."

Upon hearing his name, Garrett stepped forward and knelt.

"Yes, Father."

"Your air force commands great authority. Transfer it to the military for others to learn from. I've arranged a job for you at Silvershade Abbey. Report there."

Garrett's face paled; he had been ousted by King Gawain I.

Toby stood at the forefront of the crowd, struggling to suppress his joy. If Garrett bowed out, his position as heir was virtually assured.

King Gawain I didn't linger on Garrett but shifted his gaze to Toby. "Prince Toby."

"Yes, Father." Toby stepped forward joyously, ready to receive an honor.

"I heard you took the navy out. Can you tell me where?"

Toby hesitated. Something was off about King Gawain I's tone, but he gritted his teeth and replied, "I led the navy out for maneuvers to better defend Montiria's borders.

"Good. What a wonderful son I have. Transfer the navy's command to the military. I've also arranged a place for you at Mistwood Monastery with board and lodging."

Instantly, Toby's face mirrored Garrett's-pale and powerless. He could only watch as guards dragged him away from the heart of power. "Minister of Military Affairs."

The Minister of Military Affairs,

sweating profusely, stepped forward. After King Gawain I had punished three others in succession, he feared he might lose his position, toe

"Prepare vehicles and armed forces immediately. I am going to Basha's Sacred Mount to personally visit Matthew."
