Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3256 Seraphis Great Commercial Union's Open Scheme

"Commander Rocco, all Dominion Bank's assets for sale have been acquired overnight!"

The supply officer burst into the room, his face beaming with excitement. To him, it was a win if those assets ended up in someone else's hands. That meant they could collect the funds and keep the Gloam Division running smoothly. Rocco, who had just managed to relax his furrowed brow, tensed up again, his eyes locking onto the supply officer.

"So, you're telling me that all the bank's assets were bought by a single person overnight?"

The officer nodded, still in disbelief at what he had discovered during his inspection. Billions worth of assets were gone in the blink of an eye.

"Did you catch the name of the buyer?" Rocco's face darkened, his eyes fixed firmly on the supply officer.

In Montiria, only three entities had the clout to pull off such a feat in one night.

The Dornia trade consortium might have been capable once, but it was currently locked in a losing battle with the Seraphis Great Commercial Union. At this point, it was more concerned with avoiding bankruptcy than making large acquisitions.

The second potential player with such power was the esteemed King Gadel, but it was unlikely he would directly involve himself in such matters.

The third possibility that Rocco least wanted to consider was the Seraphis Great Commercial Union sent by Matthew.

"According to all the account names, the buyer's name is Matthew Larson," the supply officer replied, shattering Rocco's last shred of hope.

He slumped into his chair, a deep resignation etched on his face.

The Gloam Wing Secret Service was outmatched in every way. To make matters worse, previously, they falsely accused Matthew of planting Night Vine and barred him from Montiria. The more Rocco fretted, the more it seemed his fears were becoming reality. As if on cue, a soldier appeared at the entrance. "Commander Rocco, there's someone named Maurice outside. He claims you were expecting him."

Rocco's expression momentarily froze, his eyes shifting to the supply officer.

Just as this officer had returned, a Maurice had appeared. It was clear that Matthew's people had

velo

anticipated every move and were waiting for him to act.

"Show our esteemed guest in," Rocco instructed, his voice tinged with resignation.

Though Rocco was skilled in strategy and well-versed in civil and military affairs, he found himself grappling with a group of inept allies and facing an opponent of equal stature.

Little did he know, there was no one monitoring the supply officer.

Maurice's arrival was merely a

matter of coincidental timing, having just finished a wellness regimen and was promptly brought over by Mortimer with a belt.

In just a few minutes, Maurice dressed impeccably in a suit.

"Greetings, Commander Rocco of the Gloam Division," he said with a respectful yet confident bow.

"You may leave," Rocco instructed, dismissing the supply officer and signaling the soldiers at the tent entrance to step back ten paces.

"I know why you're here," Rocco bitterly said, cutting to the chase. "State your terms."

His words left Maurice, who was about to speak, momentarily stunned.

How could he already know what I was going to say?

However, he quickly set aside his surprise and began outlining the conditions his side agreed upon.

"First, you must unconditionally acknowledge the innocence of our Lecarres Summit Warden, Matthew Larson."

"Second, you must issue a public apology to Matthew Larson on behalf of the entire Montiria."

"Stop."
