It was already night, and Brielle had been pretending to be unconscious, listening as the noise outside grew louder.

She frowned, hearing a rustle near the window.

This was the signal she and Ricardo had agreed on. She quickly got up and moved to the window, where, sure enough, Ricardo was waiting.

"Brielle, I've checked everywhere else. Fisher's laptop isn't anywhere to be found. It's probably in your room. But the folks left at the base aren't just top-notch assassins; they've got hackers too. The second you touch Fisher's laptop, they'll know." Brielle's eyes narrowed. "What if I force Fisher to delete those videos himself?"

Ricardo stiffened, caught off guard by her suggestion. But what could they use to threaten Fisher?

By now, the guy probably wasn't scared of anything.

"Ricardo, get inside and hide under the bed."

Ricardo, unsure of Brielle's plan, was about to climb in when the door swung open.

It was Fisher.

From his angle, all he could see was Brielle standing by the window, smirking as she approached.

"Looking gorgeous as ever. Seems Bryan woke you up. Let me check if you're hurt."

This was his turf; he had no reason to be cautious.

Besides, he never imagined Brielle would dare to pull any tricks.

As Fisher lunged at her, Brielle spun around.

With a swift judo move, she slammed him hard onto the floor, then, without hesitation, grabbed a cup nearby and shoved it into his mouth.

The cup was large, tearing the corners of Fisher's mouth. He couldn't remove it, leaving him staring at Brielle in shock and fear, blood trickling from his lips.

Brielle noticed his belt had come undone. She scanned the room and found a dagger.

Their guns had been taken long ago. Armed with the dagger, she approached Fisher.

Fisher, still trying to remove the cup from his mouth and dazed from the slam, couldn't muster the strength to resist.

Brielle stepped on his chest and looked outside.

"Ricardo, come in."

Ricardo, still outside the window, was stunned by Brielle's smooth moves.

He recalled that during their three days here, Brielle had trained

Combining that with Fisher's underestimation and haste, Brielle found her opportunity. Ricardo climbed in through the window, taking the dagger Brielle handed him.

"Make him delete the stuff from his laptop, or this gets chopped off!" Brielle's voice was firm, speaking in a language Fisher understood making him visibly shrink in fear.

Ricardo held the dagger to that delicate spot, "Sorry, Fisher, but you need to open that laptop and delete everything if you want to keep your manhood."

Fisher's face went from pale to livid, his eyes burning with rage.

But as Brielle watched him, a hint of doubt flickered in her eyes.

Before she could ponder further, the floor of the room suddenly began to give way.

She realized in an instant.

This Fisher in the room was a decoy!

The real Fisher wouldn't panic like this!

That sly fox, always finding a way out!

Brielle and Ricardo fell through, landing with the fake Fisher at the bottom.

The fall wasn't deadly, but it left them trapped in an underground tunnel, its destination unknown.

Ricardo, furious, grabbed the fake Fisher, blaming him for this trap.

"Lead us out!"

The fake Fisher, terrified, begged for mercy.

"Let me go, and I won't touch you. I'll lead you out."

Brielle, assessing their surroundings, pressed her foot against the decoy's chest.

"So, there's no laptop in the room?"

Fisher really did treasure his life, preparing a decoy in advance.

The Fisher Brielle had seen initially was real, but tonight's intruder was a fake.

Clearly, Fisher suspected that his son's beloved wouldn't be so easily dealt with, hence the decoy's test.

Such cunning, it's no wonder he'd remained undetected for so long.
