Bryan's gaze landed on Sophia. His brow almost furrowed, but he maintained his composure. However, when his gaze shifted to the man beside her, his expression changed.

"Bryan."

Mila let out a soft voice as she grabbed his arm. He saw Sophia look away from him and turn to the man whom he did not like at all. "Bryan?"

Mila spoke up again when she was unable to get his attention.

Bryan moved his gaze from Sophia and turned his head to look at Mila.

She smiled at him with a bright face. Her face glowed under the lights, and her red dress glittered like d diamonds on roses.

"We are still standing near the gate. Don't you want to meet others?" Mila asked him, glancing at others.

Bryan turned away from her and stepped forward. People from the Moon Valley Pack stared at him with careful eyes.

All these years, they had heard about Alpha Bryan. He had a history with their pack that only the former pack officials knew about. They looked at the young man with an unfamiliar fear in their eyes.

When Bryan's gaze fell on them, they immediately lowered their heads slightly, almost bowing to him but they did not forget that another man was present in the party who could rip their heads if they dared to do so.

Alpha Harry spoke in a proud tone. Mila moved to hug Bryan's mother, Juliana Morrison. Juliana seemed impressed with Mila. She was thrilled that her son was getting married to Mila, a woman who could rule the pack just like she used to rule as the pack's Luna.

"You look lovely," Juliana said to Mila.

"Aunt, don't say that. Just look at yourself. You are gorgeous. It looks like we are the same age." When the others heard Mila, they chuckled. Mila cast a glance at Bryan as she flattered his mother in an attempt to impress him. But Bryan did not look interested in it.

Alpha Lucas spoke as he extended his hand. Bryan shook his hand with him. But Lucas did not let his hand go. Instead, he spoke in a pleading tone.

"Alpha, it is a pleasure to attend this party. You are treating our pack members really well."

come to the party. Not only did she come, but she also came with Alpha Victor.

He bowed to Bryan as soon as he approached him. The other officials also bowed to him.

Bryan grabbed a glass of wine from a waiter and took a sip.

"I see you couldn't do what I told you," Bryan said to Abraham.

Robert swallowed, sensing that Bryan's calmness was even more sinister than his fierce expression.

"I know you. Bryan, you need to calm down on the inside. It is a pack party. I think she is just here to see what you will do."

Bryan listened to Robert, but his eyes were fixed on Sophia.

Under the chandelier light, her black gown sparkled with stones. Her bare arms looked appealing,

and her flawless body drew every man's attention. She looked like the most attractive woman at the party.

Suddenly, Bryan's eyes flashed red as his face could not remain calm anymore.

He noticed Victor grabbing Sophia's waist. His inner wolf began to growl inside. He clenched his jaw, frowning hard.

He expected Sophia to push away the man's hand. But Sophia gave him a soft smile. Victor told

her something, and she nodded her head in response.

Soon after that, they started moving in his direction.

Bryan's eyes burned with rage as he stared at Sophia.

Didn't Abraham say she thought of that man as just her friend? But how could she allow a friend

to get this close to her?

As the beta of this pack, Robert had to do his duty. So when Victor approached, Robert could not help but greet him.
