"What?!" Lucas looked confused immediately and angrily used the empty bucket in his hand to hit Greg on the face. "You better not play stupid games here." He gritted out in anger.

"Who sent you, bastard?!" Zach kicked Bryan this time.

"He's right." Bryan screamed in pain. "He sent us." He also pointed at Lucas.

I could not help staring at him. Even his brothers turned to him, they wanted answers as did I. Was it truly Lucas? Or was there some sort of misunderstanding going on somewhere? But Greg had no idea where I was. Mom and I had not told anyone we were coming to this pack. No one from Moon Rock knew she was mated to the Alpha of Stone Shadow pack.

And if these guys were insisting that Lucas had sent them, then what was the possibility they were lying?

"Lucas, what do you have to say?" Baron asked, his unfriendly glare still on his younger brother and the last boy of the house. He still held me so tight.

"How can you believe I would send people to come hurt Katherina?" His voice was angry and thick with disbelief.

"You don't talk to her. Maybe anger for the crime she never committed, a sort of punishment for ruining the school's reputation." Baron spat out.

Lucas recoiled in humiliation. "Are you serious? Have you forgotten I tried to apologize but you asked us out of her room?!"

"Then revenge it is."

"What?" Lucas was as though he could not believe his ears.

"You came to apologize, she chases you out, you're angry and want to get back at her." Baron deadpanned, no emotion whatsoever was seen on his face.

"Mind your tongue, Baron." Zach stepped forward. "Don't talk to Lucas like that and you know these bastards are lying. Lucas is too innocent to think of harming anyone, certainly not his girlfriend."

"What?" Baron looked confused at Zach's last two words.

But I was not, I understood Zach.

"That's what Lucas calls Katherina." He explained.

Baron turned to me. "Is this true?"

I nodded.

"What matters if it is true or not, Baron? That is not what we're here for. You know Lucas. We all know Lucas, this can't be him. It is not him." Zach was doing a good job defending his brother. If only they had defended me like this.

"Don't raise your voice at me, Zach." Baron warned. "You all should have thought of that before leaving the girl on her own in a pack she's yet to be familiar with and students as ruthless as the owner's sons."

Aaron had on a cynical smile. "You do realize you're part of the Salvatore?"

Baron gave a cynical smile right back at his twin. "I've always known myself to be ruthless, which was why I expected more from you guys concerning Katherina."

"So you're better than the rest of us, huh? Just because you go with her to school?" Aaron advanced menacingly towards us...or specifically towards his twin.

"Are you aware how many times she'd had drinks poured on her? The insults? The hits?" Aaron's eyes flashed in anger when he heard 'the hits', then his regretful gaze fell on me. When he looked back at his brother, regret turned to fury. "Then you did a very poor job of looking after her if she was hit. At least when she was with us, no one dared."

Baron's wolf flickered his angry eye color, it wanted to surface. "Was that why you defended Katelyn? Because she was with you guys?"

Aaron did not say anything, the only emotion that made me know he was still capable of talking was the fury masking his face.

The room was filled with tension, anger and male ego. Too much of the last one. I wanted to tell them to stop but I was too scared to even interfere. But I wonder how they both end up making everything about them, and I was usually in the middle.

A chilling growl escaping his throat, Aaron landed a swift jab on Greg's nose, breaking it more. I cringed hearing the crunching sound it made. "Who. The. Fuck. Sent. You?!"

Greg pulled a phone out of his pocket, unable to speak much, he unlocked his phone and handed it to Aaron who snatched it out of his hands. His eyes widened as he read scrolled through the phone. What was it? What was he reading that was making his face contort into more fury?

"What is it?" Zach impatiently asked.

Without a word, Aaron handed the phone to Zach. "Fuck?! What the hell is this Lucas?! How could you?"

Did this mean that Greg and Bryan was right? That he had really sent them to hurt me? If yes, then why? My gaze swept to where he was, he looked very much confused and lost as he went to get the phone from Zach, reading whatever content there. I was curious but I also did not want to really know. I did not want to read what would make me break down.

"Wait, you're the person I've been talking to?" Lucas asked.

Greg nodded but I saw him winced as he did so. Lucas' gaze turned bloody. "How dare you?!" Without further much Ado, he pounced on Greg and worsened his already battered appearance, Greg was a strong werewolf, Bryan too. They both came from royal bloodline which was why it would be hard for them to easily be put out. But being faced with werewolves of the same royal bloodline, and outnumbered, it was impossible to win that fight.

Done with Greg, he went to Bryan and meted out the same angry treatment to him, damaging his already damaged face. "Lucas stop, please." I could not take hearing that crunching sound of something being broken or battered. But he did not listen to me, I had never seen Lucas get this angry before. "Guy, do something before he kills them both." At this rate, I did not even understand what was happening. What was in that phone that had made Zach yell at Lucas and was making Lucas beat the boys up.

No one paid attention to me, they watched in awe as Lucas unleashed fury on the two guys. Why were they in awe? I snatched my grip from Baron, taking him unaware and ran forward to pull Lucas off of Bryan when a blow hit me and I blacked out instantly.
