Arabella tried her best not to cry in front of him after learning that he was getting married to that model. She was already getting frustrated with the coincidence that she observed after drawing a 3D star. She wanted to destroy his whole room in anger, but instead, she walked out only to hear his parents discussing when to tell Wylder about his marriage with Tiara.

The next thing she knew, she ran back to the room and destroyed every single thing that she felt would be useless or could be fixed.

She was fuming in anger to hide her tears, but all her emotions evaporated like thin air when he touched her. The realization hit her in the next second, so she walked away from there as soon as possible.

“Where is Tee? Is she still sleeping?” Eden asked, settling at the breakfast table with Arya. Everyone greeted them, to which they nodded their heads in acknowledgment. Her eyes landed on Arabella, who resumed eating her breakfast after greeting them with chopsticks.

“She is in the hospital. She got her shoulder dislocated because of a catfight.” Wylder replied so casually as if he didn’t give a damn whether she broke her hand or broke her head. Eden didn’t comment on his behavior.

She was there with Sophia when she and Brandon had been separated, but the moment she learned about his sick condition, She was there for him.

“I hope she would have given tough competition to that cat; after all, Tiara is good at fighting.” Arya chuckled, looking at the nail marks on Arabella’s neck.

Wylder didn’t reply to his mother because he didn’t have anything to say. Instead of breaking Arabella’s neck or hand, Tiara was crying to get his sympathy.

“How is she now?” Eden asked him. “Did you inform Brandon about her condition?”

“She is not doing great. Lee can cure her within seconds, but she doesn’t want to take her sister’s help, so within 4-6 weeks, she will be fine at human recovery speed.” Wylder responded to her first question. “And I didn’t get a chance to inform Uncle last night. I will do that after breakfast.”

Arabella didn’t like the topic that they were discussing at the breakfast table, but she didn’t have another option but to listen to them.

After finishing breakfast, Arabella went to the library to start her work and also to keep her mind off the Alpha. She spent an hour taking a tour of the library to remember all the book departments that Ms. Amiee Haris had told her last night.

Thankfully, most of the people in the library were teenagers or pups who knew where they could find the books they required. So, her work was to arrange the books, assign or reassign the books, and check the books in stock.

“Alpha, I have sent emails of the sketches of all those people to all the packs that are in contact with us, requesting them to inform us of any information they have seen anywhere,” Eliam said, to which Wylder nodded his head.

“Any update on the next auction?” Wylder asked, knowing he had a lot of connections with a lot of females in the pack.

“No. None of my girls have informed me about it. Moreover, after the drama that you had in the last auction, I doubt any auction would be done this soon because those bastards would have been on alert mode for sure.”

“Hmm. How’s Breda? Any new information from those four other Omegas we had bought?”

“I have to check on her. I wonder why she is late when you have decreased her working hours. I wish I could get a chance to work eleven to five.” Eliam muttered in a dreamy tone.

“First, get pregnant for that,” Wylder said, throwing his pen at him, which he caught perfectly. “Or choose someone as your mate and get her pregnant.” He added.

Hearing this, Eliam’s smile disappeared from his lips.

He was twenty-two now and had been searching for his mate for the past four years, but he hadn’t found her yet. He made sure to attend all the mating balls or grab any moment to travel to any pack in search of her, but the result was negative. That was a different thing; he had caught her scent once, very faintly. A scent that had invaded his senses for a while.

“I’m sorry, man. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” Wylder apologized.

“I have to ask you something. I didn’t get to ask this before because that night you were in a very bad mood, and your mood remained bad for a month. So, I kind of ignore this fact, thinking that I might be being delusional.” Eliam spoke.

“Sure. Go ahead.”

“I once sensed an alluring scent coming from you.” Wylder’s eyes widened upon hearing this. Last, he wanted to become his Gamma’s mate. “No. No. I’m not talking about you. Remember the night around one and a half years ago when you went to visit Tiara after two weeks of continuously working in the pack after the mating mall?”

Wylder nodded his head. How could he forget any moment with her?

“When you returned that night, there was a faint… a very faint scent of my mate around you,” Eliam said, shocking Wylder. “You know that my grandmother was from the Dark Inhaler Pack, where the wolves were blessed with great smelling power. We could sense those faint scents that other werewolves couldn’t identify.”

“Why didn’t you tell me about it that night?” Wylder asked him.

“Because Night was in control of your body. Later, you didn’t tell anyone of us the reason, but after that night, you didn’t visit Tiara for around one month. I hope you remember that night.” Eliam asked, to which Wylder nodded his head, and before he would have asked another question, Wylder recalled the faces of all the people around him that day. “So, I want to ask…”

Wylder showed him his hand to keep quiet. “That day I came here in the morning for training for two hours. Did your wolf sense something at that moment?” He questioned.

“No. Not at the time. I smelt that scent at night.”

“In that case, Uncle Brandon and Aunt Sophia are definitely not your mates.” Wylder pointed out the way Eliam glared at him. Eliam had never met them, but he knew that they were a generation-old couple and also Tiara’s parents.

He decided to take revenge on him for making fun of him: “Also, I can bet that Tiara is not my mate because I remember her scent.”

Wylder growled at him, shutting him down, on which he smirked.

“Cheeky bastard.” Wylder hissed, and he kept grinning. “Now, I won’t tell you who the people were who were around me that day.”

Eliam’s smirk disappeared at those words, “Alpha, please! I’m sorry. Please!!”

It was Wylder’s time to smirk. He recalled everything that happened from morning to night. After spending time with Sophia while preparing breakfast, he left for the coven to meet his so-called father.

After that, he returned to Tiara and didn’t leave her suite even for a second until the night.

‘So, someone from Coven is Eliam’s mate?’ He concluded, but who?

Wylder had no idea whose scent Eliam picked up from him.

Guards? Or Zadok? Or… Circe?

His heart thudded when he realized only these people came anywhere in his personal space.
