Tasya didn't want to leave Naina's bedroom door frame just yet. She stayed with the child until she fell asleep, making sure the pain relievers from the doctor had been taken and that Naina's wounds had been treated again. Naina should be able to sleep soundly now. Her pink blanket was on, and Tasya had ensured that the room temperature was comfortable.

Tasya should be able to leave now, right? But her eyes didn't want to leave just like that. There was nothing unusual about their conversation before bedtime. Naina was still the same: clingy, annoying, demanding, talkative, and bossy, especially when it came to household chores.

But something felt different in Tasya's heart.

Her affection for Naina was growing, and she didn't want anything bad to happen to her. Again. The memory of her past when she finished giving a blood donation came back to her. She was allowed to see who received her blood. A little girl who was helpless, with her whole body filled with various tubes. Her prayer at that time was only one: "God, save that little girl."

And now, her eyes were given the chance to witness how the little girl she had saved was growing up healthy.

"What's up with you?" Nathan asks, looking puzzled. Nathan's question immediately snaps Tasya out of her reverie.

"Nothing. Just making sure Naina is sleeping well." Tasya quickly ends her observation with a faint smile.

"You really love Naina," Nathan chuckles. "Her daddy doesn't."

"You act like a little kid," Tasya pouts. "Can't you sleep? It's already late. I'm not going to make coffee for you, you know. I want to check on Robin and Ronan first. I'm worried they might feel uncomfortable sleeping at someone else's house." "Who said they'd feel uncomfortable?" Nathan folds his arms across his chest. His steps follow Tasya, who started walking ahead.

"What do you mean?"

"They're already fast asleep, Mama Raptor."

"Really?" Tasya can't believe it so quickly. She looks at Nathan suspiciously, who is smiling broadly.

"I'm serious, Mama Raptor. They're already asleep."

Tasya lets out a relieved sigh unconsciously. "Thank goodness. I was afraid they might feel uncomfortable, Nathan. This is your house, after all. There must be a sense of hesitation."

Nathan chose to just embrace Tasya. Even though Tasya squirmed to be released, Nathan didn't want to let go. "Don't worry. They're comfortable. In fact, I offered them to stay here. Ronan said his workplace is closer from here. Robin can go to school with Naina."

"No way, Nathan."

"Why not? Naina herself suggested it."

Tasya gaped. "You don't believe that?"

"I don't believe it?" Nathan teasingly pinched Tasya's cute nose. "Ask Naina tomorrow if you don't believe me."

"I can't breathe, Nathan!"

Of course, he burst into laughter. "Oh, one more thing," he said between the laughter he created. "I've made an appointment with another psychiatrist. We can transfer your mother from the previous hospital. I don't want you to meet that guy again. I don't like him."

Nathan wasn't too keen on escorting Naina to meet Seira. The guy had his doubts about his niece's behavior. He didn't want Naina to cause any more trouble. It could give him a headache dealing with whatever Naina was going to do later. "I promise not to mess up, Daddy," she half-pleaded.

"Your last promise got Daddy stuck in the redhead auntie list," Nathan grumbled while glancing at Tasya. The pony tailed girl was busy peeling mangoes to serve. Tasya was staying over at their house again tonight.

Don't worry, Tasya's two younger siblings were also sleeping over at their luxurious house. No one minded Robin and Ronan's arrival. In fact, it suddenly became quite lively. Talking to Ronan was like making a new, enjoyable friend. Nathan learned a lot about Tasya's family from Ronan.

The young man was easy to talk to. As for Tasya? You needed a lot of wits to get her to open up. Although Nathan never got tired of digging into Tasya's disappointments and making sure she didn't mind sharing with him, it was like putting together a puzzle with tiny pieces. Fortunately, Ronan helped clarify some things that Nathan didn't understand, including the situation with her mother.

And how Tasya's family got to this point in the first place.

"Why?" Tasya blinked softly, realizing that she was now the center of Nathan's attention. Even though her two younger siblings were at the dinner table, it seemed like Nathan had no shame.

"Do you think Naina meeting Mrs. Seira isn't a big deal?"

"She has a purpose, right?" Tasya then looked at Naina and smiled. "Why does Naina want to meet Aunt Seira?"

"She wants to apologize to Olivia. It's been canceled so many times until now, right?"

Tasya raised her thumb. "I'll accompany you. When?"

"Tomorrow."

Without hesitation, Tasya nodded. "Okay. Have you told Aunt Seira that you're coming?"

"I did."

"If Daddy doesn't want to take you, then I'll do it."

"Yay!!!" Naina immediately changed her expression. "Daddy Raptor is stingy!" She stuck out her tongue, hands on her hips, feeling like Nathan wasn't on her side.

"Alright, Daddy will take you. Just promise not to cause any trouble," Nathan conceded. "Robin, do you want to come along?" Nathan offered because he was sure meeting Seira wouldn't take long. His plan afterward might involve strolling around the mall just to spend time together.

"No, Sir. Robin and Ronan will stay home. They want to play PlayStation. Ronan happens to have a day off, right?" Ronan responded with a thumbs-up. After work earlier, he had taken the time to buy some mangoes as a gift. It was his sister's request, and Ronan understood why she did it.

In this large house, they were treated very well. It wouldn't hurt to bring a bag full of mangoes. After all, it seemed like the owner of the house enjoyed the fruit that his sister was diligently peeling. In Ronan's eyes, the little girl with the high ponytail who often spoke rudely but seemed genuinely affectionate toward her sister was just a lonely little kid. Just like Robin, right?

"Yes, I have a day off. I want to try the new PS5 that Mr. Nathan bought."

Nathan patted his chest proudly. "Good. Enjoy your day off at home."

Hearing Nathan's recent words, Tasya responded with a smirk and a roll of her eyes.

"What's with you, Tasya? Can you even play PS5? If you can, come on... let's compete," Nathan said arrogantly.

"No, I'm sure you'll cheat," Tasya retorted.

"Hey!" Nathan objected. "You're accusing me, you know."

"Geez! Where are the mangoes? Tasya's taking forever to peel them," Naina quickly interjected. "What are you doing, entertaining Daddy Raptor? Raptors eat meat, right? Not mangoes. Why do you have to wait for Daddy?"
