The footage clearly showed how Debby walked out of the exact room he had a night stand. So how did Edna come into the picture? It was definitely Debby he had a night stand with. He mentally cursed himself for not believing all these while that Debby is her was the woman he had a one night stand with five years ago. That just give an accurate explanation behind how Fred turned out to be his son.

Has Edna been deceiving him? How dare she!

Whoever dares to deceive him will experience hell here on earth.

If there was one thing Harry hated, it was being placed in a situation where he would be tricked. He had slowly realized that Edna had fooled him and that she was not actually the lady he had a one night stand. Harry wondered if she had also lied about being his childhood lover as well. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and placed a call across one of his men.

"Bring Edna to me now!" He ordered in an authoritative manner. He will show Edna what it means to be ruthless. He will teach her a lesson she won't forget in this lifetime, that's if she survives the punishment he would make her go through. Meanwhile, Edna was in her apartment, watching N*****x when she heard the sounds of various cars pulling up in her apartment. She checked through the lenses of her window and realized that they were men from Harry. Edna knew something wasn't right about their presence. The times where she had seen Harry's men gathered in their number, it was never rosy.

Quickly, Edna rushed over to her mother's room and knocked on her door hastily, took a few seconds before Alice eventually opened up.

"Why do you look flushed?" Alice asked with a sleepy face. She was having her afternoon nap, when the knock had come in.

"Harry's men are here and from all indication, it seems something is wrong, mother. I think the doctor must have betrayed me and told Harry that Fred was his son. In that case, he has every logical reason to believe that I have deceived him and that it was Debby he had a night stand five years ago and not me." Edna explained what she thinks was the reason why Harry's men were here. Alice's heart shook in fear, she quickly thought of what to do. "Quick! Come inside." She said, pulling Edna into the room.

Alice had built for herself a place to hide when there was a sign of danger arising. It was a secret underground passage, hidden under her bed and made to look like the tiles of the floor. Alice raised her bed up and opened the doorway to the underground then Edna rushed into the passage.

She closed it back and pulled her bed, back to its original position, before heading out of the room to attend to Harry's men, who had been banging on the door.

When Alice opened the door, the monstrous looks of Harry's men, made her really agitated. They were huge and well armed.

"Where is your daughter?" One of the men asked.

"What is all this? Why would you all come into my apartment and ask for my daughter? What do you want?" Alice asked.

The men stared at themselves for a moment and pushed Alice aside, making their way into the apartment and immediately commenced search across the house.

Alice was fidgeting as they made their way to her room, she followed them quickly. She prayed within her heart that they wouldn't find the hidden passage.

She watched as they raided the whole room, pulling the beds away but they didn't find anything. Alice sighed in relief, seeing that none of them had noticed the hideout.

Harry's men searched every hooks and crannies but Edna was no where to be found so they decided to report the situation of things back to Harry. Before they left, the leader of the group turned to face Alice.

"You have twenty four hours to provide Edna and bring her to the boss else, the next time we would be here, this house would be burned to ashes." He threatened, before they left the apartment.

After Alice was certain that they had left the apartment, she rushed over to check up on Edna.

Once she had successfully helped Edna out of the underground, she turned to stare at her daughter, saying;

"We have certainly offended Harry. We need to leave this city at once. Darkwood is not a place to contain a 'fury Harry Vernon' and people like us." Edna agreed to her mother's plan and rushed out of her mother's room to get all her luggage ready, before they subsequently hit the road.

It was the first day of the week and Debby was hoping to go back to the corporation. She needed to plead with the board of directors to accept her back.

She didn't have any credible evidence to show that she didn't commit the flase accusations levied against her, but she was certain that she could be able to convince the directors as regards her innocence.

While heading to the office, Debby had ordered for an Uber but the car broke down on the road. She was stranded alongside the driver, who was trying his best to get the car to its best form as soon as he can.

Suddenly, a familiar car pulled over and Debby hissed realizing who was at the driver's seat. She hated the sight of Nicholas and seeing him at this moment made her absolutely angry.

"Good morning, Edna. How about I take you to work?" Nicholas suggested..

"I will get another taxi going to the corporation; I don't need your help." She said, going over to the back seat and grabbing her purse.

"Come on Debby, I'm sure you are already late for work already and there is a slight chance you will see any other cab passing by." Nicholas begged but Debby was already walking away.

He followed her with his car, trying to get her attention but Debby paid deaf ears to his speech.

Nicholas knew that he needed to do something to make her forgive him.

"Debby, will you even give me the chance to explain myself? Time is running out. You will be late for work.
