Carter pov

I find myself in some kind of portal. I don’t when I come here, I just remember I apologized to Leo. When Carter got out of control. Because of him, my stitches open it. After that, I fell into this weird portal.

“Where am I?” I muttered.

“You are in a coma…” James’ voice makes me look aside.

Brown wolf sitting close to me. He is my wolf, James. He looked tired somehow.

“James… Why am I here? And you look tired. What happened?” I feel worried about James.

“It’s because I’m losing my Mate. I used all my power to heal you. But still, you fell into a coma. After that, I’m losing my power. Looks like our bond is getting weak. Carter, I need My soulmate… I need her… I need Nora. If I lose her I’ll die and so you will die too.” James using the mind link to talk to me.

“Don’t worry, James. Once I get up from this useless coma… I promise I’ll talk to Nora and make her come to us…” I assure him.

“You don’t feel anything are you? Carter, she is getting out of our reach. Our Mate’s bound is weak like me. Like she chooses someone else.” James howls painfully.

“She chose someone else, Carter… You are late…” A strong voice makes me turn to voice direction.

Another wolf is sitting opposite us. Her white fur looks so good. Her eyes sparkling in golden colour. Her hair is not just white there is sparkling in colourful lights around her fur. I know who is that wolf. I see her first when Nora shifts for the first time. She had a different aura around her. I know she is not a normal wolf. She had mysterious power in her. I can feel her. She is Zoe Nora’s wolf. And she does not look good. She stared at me with angry eyes. And I know why she was angry at me.

“Hi, Zoe… Long time to see… How are you?” I try to be nice. I don’t want to make her angry.

” Very disappointed in you, Carter. I thought you were really an Alpha. But you just act cowardly. You threw your responsibility towards your Mate aside and rejected her. If she knows that you make another she-wolf pregnant. She hurt more. She can feel you as her Mate when she shifts for the first time. Reject her for the sake of your so cold love? Carter, if you don’t want her… you have to just talk to her. She will understand your situation. She is your friend right? You were with each other when you were just pups. Don’t you trust that you can’t tell her about you having pups?” She looked at me with hateful eyes.

I can’t find words to say anything, because there is nothing I can say to her. She is right, I mess up.

“I was scared to lose Miya and My pups. I thought Nora might tell Miya about our Mate bond.” I try to be responsible.

“But you were ready to lose your Mate?” Zoe said in an angry tone.

“I don’t want that to happen… But I never expected Nora to be my Mate. I was sure that Miya was my Mate. I was so attracted to her.” I told her what was on my mind at that time. I hope she understands me.

“You were stupid then. You have no right to have her. Let’s forget this… Get out of her life. It’s better she accepted someone else.” She said calmly.

“Someone else? You mean Leo?” I shouted in anger.

“Leo is the best wolf. He helped her a lot. He was with her when she needed to play sports. He does everything as life partners do.” Zoe said.

I feel my anger getting high. My first tighten in furious.

“Did you think we could get her? Zoe looks so angry…” James looks weaker and hurt.

“I hope so… But I’m scared of her punishment.” I said in a low tone.

“I hope you don’t mess up this time.” James said in a tired tone.

I am calm. I have to show Zoe that I’ll never step back from Nora. I’ll make her mine. I just need to talk to her first.

After Zoe visited I don’t know how much time passed. I was just wondering when I got out of the coma. James and I talk about Nora, our childhood memories. Time by time James gets weak. I don’t understand why he is getting weak?

“Carter…” Nora’s voice surprised me. I look around then I see her standing far from me. Beautiful smile on her face.

“James, do you see Nora there?” I stand up in excitement. I want to run and take her in my arms.

“Nora… I…” I step forward to her. But my feet stop in the middle. She is not alone. A tall man grabbed her by her waist. Anger boiling inside me. How dare he touch Nora.

He is a well-built man. I don’t know why I can’t see his face. But I still see him putting his arms around her waist. I feel furious. I want to rip off his head. How dare he touch her.

Nora m turned to him and smiled sweetly just like she smiled when she saw me in the past. He bent on her and caught her lips in a k**s.

“What the hell… Stop! You son of b***h! How dare you touch her? Leave her alone or I’ll kill you… She is mine… Only MINE!” I growled and tried to jump on him to kill him. But my legs stick to the ground. I try using all my power, but still, I can’t move at all.

“Mmm…” I heard sweet m***s. My eyes look back to Nora. She enjoys being kissed by that man. She is now responding to him kissing him back. He picks her up so she can wrap her legs around his waist.

No… No… No! How can she k**s someone else? She is my Mate. Don’t she know how f**king it painful for me to see her with someone else?

“Nora… Stop for goodness sake… You can’t do this to me… You hurting me Nora.” I started to feel suffocated suddenly. This pain is too much. It’s hurting so badly.

“You feel this is painful? Did you think how much painful it was for Nora to face rejection? You feel half pain. If I agreed with you she would never survive from that pain.” James’ weak voice makes me shiver. He is right, but still, I won’t accept this from Nora. She is not like me.

“I know I f**k up… Because I’m a*shole. But Nora… She is not like other girls. Why did she allow that man to touch her?” As I say my eyes meet her. She just ignores me and continue her k**s with that f**ker. My b***d boiled. Jealousy makes my whole body on fire.

“You make her do this…. First Leo and now this man…” James growls at me in hatred.

“Wait! This is not real… I’m seeing an illusion. This is a dream… Nora never did this in the first place.” I muttered and relaxed.

“If this is an illusion… Then let me show you something interesting…” Zoe’s voice makes me nervous.

I see she is sitting in the same position. As she says her mouth throws smoke I’ll be in the air. And then a scene started showing. It’s not the original scene, it’s a porn scene. As she says I turned my eyes to scenes. Nora pushes him on the bed. Then she started pulling his clothes. My eyes widened again, not because of Nora’s actions. It’s because the man who was touching her was…My Beta.

“James, I need your help to get out of here. I’ll kill this bastard in my hand.” I growled in anger.

I got up and pulled all the tubes and jumped out of the bed and searched for Nora’s scents. I catch in time but catch her aromas mixed with Jax. My fist tightens in anger, low growth leaves for my lips as I run out of the door.

I run like a wide beast. It may nose to catch her scents. I stop in front of the door. I smell her behind that door. I smell fresh s*x scents too. No… No… No. I hope I’m not late.

I kicked that door and stepped inside, my eyes scanning the room. And My eyes catch horrible scenes in my life. She was there, on the bed, he was on top of her, I smell fresh s*x in the air. Jax hid her body with his large naked body.
