Nora pov

Raindrops on my cheeks make me open my eyes. I got up from the grass and looked around. We are in the forest thanks to Zoe. Then I realised I’m not in my wolf form. I’m human and I’m naked. Thanks to the forest, no one is around to see me like this. But this is a new place for me. After so long I shifted into my wolf. It feels better than being human, of course, I love being human too.

‘Zoe, where are we now?’ I ask Zoe.

‘are in a forest close to Alpha Zen’s pack border.’ Zoe’s voice rings in my mind.

‘Are you kidding me? Did you want to kill me like this? If Alpha knows I got my wolf, he will ask me to join his pack. And I’m not ready to join his pack. He permitted us to stay out of his pack. ‘Just wait and see.’ Zoe said in my mind.

I keep my eyes on them. Suddenly they stop and look at the other side. They looked at each other and nodded in understanding. After two seconds another three men walk in their direction. One was tall and wearing a black furry coat. He looks like a boss to them. Because the other two look respectful to him. And what made me scared was that they were both Rogues. One of their bosses felt a strong and powerful aura around him.

“We brought two women, let our Alpha go.” One of Alpha’s wolves said to them.

The tall man just waved his hand to the backside. Another man carrying a little boy in his arms walks there and hands them. They exchange with each other.

“King gives you the order to kill Alpha Carter, but he is still alive… So this is your punishment for undoing your work. Make this message passed to Alpha Zen. If you failed again to do our orders, next death your whole pack now we’re to be seen for sure. Now f**k of…” One carrying boy growled on Zen’s man.

They just nod and walk out. Another side, two men carry a woman on his shoulders and walk away.

“Shall we go?” Man with blond hair said to a quiet man. Who was reminded of the same position.

“You go first…” He said it for the first time. His voice was cold and so deep. It’s creeping my body.

“Sure…” Blond hair man said and walked away.

The tall man turned in my direction. My eyes widen knowing he knows I’m here.

‘Ran… Run… Run…’ Zoe’s voice rings in my mind. And I try to run. But my body froze with his eyes. He started to walk towards me slowly and calmly.

“Nora, he is not good for us… Run, babe…’ Zos said in a panic tone.

‘I can’t move…’

‘You just froze in shock. Turn and run, don’t make more mess.’

As she said I took a breath and turned to run but he was in front of me in a second. His face was too close to me. In a panic, I step back and bump the tree.

He sniffed in the air and looked down at me. His eyes are darker red like b***d. He stepped closer to me. We are now facing each other. His face is inches away. Now I can see his dark chocolate skin was shining in the dark. His red is big but still looks attractive. His big, pink lips look kissable. His hair is brown like chocolate. One earring on his right ear.

“Name?” His voice is so low and deep it makes me shiver.

I keep remembering quiet, I’m not going to give him my name, no not at all.

“Who are you?”
