Carter pov

“You both were so careless wolves. You can’t even feel someone with you… In your car Carter… Brother Jax? How can you both run pack house back there, huh?” Leo mocked us.

“Shut up! The Blue Moon Pack is the strongest pack in the whole land. And for your kind information our pack is running good, then others. Now tell me when you enter my car?” I snapped in anger. I can’t tolerate anyone right now.

“When you both run to the car like mad dogs. I can guess something happens to Nora. So I take a back seat, it’s no big deal to fool two fracking wolves.” Leo chuckles.

“Hold your tongue, Leo.” Jax growled at him.

“What? I just save your d**k, and you get angry at me.” Leo pouted playfully. Jax growled at him.

This wolf is named LEO! What do I do about this man? He loves to make me furious. Always getting on my nerves.

“Why are you angry at me? I will not lose my mind in anger…” Leo rolled his eyes.

“Yes, I lost my mind… Nora is in danger… What did you want me to do? I want to tear apart those who touch Nora.” I shouted in frustration.

“Angry wolf!” Leo chuckles softly.

“Leo…” I growled at him. He needs to shut his annoying mouth. He is messing with my mind.

“What? You can’t scare me, you know…”Leo struggles with his shoulder.

” That’s enough, Leo! You don’t have to make fun of Alpha. He is worried about Nora. You can’t feel what we are feeling right now. And don’t forget he is your Alpha too. So respect him.” Jax interrupts him with an angry tone.

“He is not my Alpha. I left my pack four years ago… I’m now a rogue.” Leo said in an annoying tone.

“That means I can kill you anytime…” I give him sharp eyes.

I’m an Alpha. I can’t allow anyone to disrespect me. It’s not good for my reputation. He needs to learn to respect his Alpha. Because he is not rogue at all. I can feel he never broke the pack bond yet. If he does, I can feel it. Nora and Leo are still part of the Blue Moon Pack. He just acts stubborn.

“Try me! I can give you a tough fight! I’m not old Leo.” Leo gives me a challenging smile.

I’ll love to snatch that smile from his face. But right now I just want to see my love, Nora. So ignoring him was best for me.

“So where do you going to search Nora?” Leo changes the subject.

“First we are going to a restaurant where she meets her friends. We can ask them if they see her getting kidnapped. And we can see what happens to our warriors.” Jax said.

“She is not there… You can’t find anything from her friends. Because she was not with them when got kidnapped.” Leo said calmly.

“What did you mean?” I look back at him. He looks so calm which means he knows where Nora is.

“They were in the parking lot when Nora walked to her car. They were already unconscious before they kidnapped her. And here is the place they take Nora.” Leo shows his phone.

“What is this? How can you know where they take Nora? Leo, tell me everything…” I was so shocked knowing Leo knew everything.

“Carter, we have been staying here for the past four years. I know what kind of man’s around here. So when we got here I appointed a spy on Nora. When Nora goes out without me, he keeps his eyes on her. And he is human so I’m not worried that he will try to mate with her like other unmated males want to mate with her. So that friends of mine keep eyes on her and make sure he alerts me if she is in danger. He keeps eyes from distances so Nora never knows that she gets to watch. And don’t tell her ever, because she doesn’t like someone to interrupt her privacy.”

“So that friend of yours sent you to address where Nora is?” Jax asked excitedly. I know he feels happy that finally, we are going to get our Mate. Wait! Why was I referring we? She is my Mate! Only mine. Soon he faced that truth too.

“Jax, follow the address. And you Leo, why did you hire a human male to spy on her? Wait, did he follow her everywhere? I mean everywhere?” I can’t help it, but I feel my anger rising again. How can I allow a man to follow her back? He is f**King Man!

“Oh come on, Carter! Clear your mind. He is a married man and it’s his job to follow people, he is a detective. And he does not follow her everywhere. He just does when I told him to do so. So today when Nora said she was going to meet her friends I called him to keep an eye on her. Now consider saying thank you to me? Because of me, you can get your Mate back, right Brother Jax?” Leo smirks devilishly.

“I’ll thank you when I see Nora safe.” I don’t want to argue with him. Because he is right. I don’t like the idea of a detective, be it because he appoints one we know where to go.

“We are here, Alpha.” Jax’s voice rings in my mind. He was using a mind link so others could not hear us.

My eyes turned to the mansion standing fur away from our car. That was private property under Alpha Zen. I can see his worries around the place.

But why Nora in Alpha Zen’s place? Did Alpha is the one who kidnapped Nora? But why? What does he want from Nora?

“Alpha I can smell rogue…” Jax voice makes me alert. Now I can smell strong rogue scents.

“What we do now?”

“I want my Mate.” After saying that I jump out of the car and sift in my big wolf in between my run.

Two more wolves follow me. And they were Jax and Leo I can smell them. We take down every wolf who tries to stop us. They are lost of them.

“Jax you go ahead. Leo and I look at this site wolves…” I command Jax.

“Yes, Alpha.” Jax become a killing machine right now wiping many wolves in his path. I’m so proud that I chose the most powerful Beta for my pack.

“Alpha… I found her… And…” Jax holds his words.

“And what, Jax? Nora is safe right? JAX ANSWER ME!” I used my Alpha tone.

“She is safe, but you have to take a look…” Jax said and I tear apart the last one.

I run inside the mansion where I smell Jax and Nora. Leo was behind me. We both stop one room. I can smell lots of b***d and wolf laying on the floor dead. I shift back in human and step inside. Jax was hugging Nora. She looks unconscious and she wearing a furry coat. And I can smell rogues scents in the room. I can’t help but growl in anger.

Jax looks at me and keeps holding Nora closed his naked body. He sniffing her scents to make him calm down. I want to do the same.

“Oh s**t! Brother Jax, did you killed Alpha Zen?” Leo’s voice made me look at him. He just pointed to the dead body of Alpha Zen. His head was torn apart from her body.

“No. I never do this. He was already dead when I come here. I see one rogue run to the window and jump out. When I try to catch him he was not there. He vanishes in thin air.” Jax said carrying Nora in his hand.

“Why is a rogue here?” Leo murmured himself.

“Alpha we need to go. I don’t think Nora is well. Something happing her…” Jax come closed to me.

I shift back to my wolf.

‘Put here on me. We can go easy on this from.’ I mind link him.

He just needed and put Nora on my back. And next second both Jax and Leo shift into a wolf and we run out of that place.
