Leo smirks at him. It makes James(Carter’s wolf) growl more. Jax tries to process what to do.

“James, it’s good to know you wish to be your Mate. But Nora is not trusting you and Carter. You both hurt her so much. That’s why she decided to leave you. So you won’t break her heart.”

“I never hurt her or break her heart in the first place. It was Carter who rejected her. But I won’t agree with him.”James growled at him.

“But he was another part of you… Am I wrong? You can stop him when he is rejecting you.”

“That stupid won’t be stopped how much I try…” James shakes his head in a disappointed face.

“Well, I feel sad for you James… But Nora never trusts Carter a bit. Maybe this time she will reject…”

Before Leo completes his sentence James pins him by grabbing his neck.

“I WON’T ALLOW HER TO REJECT ME! SHE IS MY MATE!!” James growled on Leo’s face.

“Alpha… I found Nora…” Jax shouted.

As James heard that he stepped back from Leo. He turned to Jax. Jax pointed out of the house. James sniffed in the air, he caught Nora’s scents. He ran outside, following Jax’s back. Both stop in the garden. Nora was sitting in the middle of the garden. Her eyes were staring at the fountain.

“Alpha… I think Alpha Carter needs the chance to talk to Nora and make her trust him.” Jax said in a low voice.

James thought of the node in understanding. Soon Carter takes back control and his blue eyes turn on Nora’s side face.

“Thank Jax…”

“You need it.” Jax patted his shoulder.

“You are the best Beta ever…”

“I’ll go pack Nora’s clothes,” Jax said with a soft smile. He turns and leaves Carter there to talk to Nora.

Carter takes a deep breath and walks slowly in Nora’s direction. Nora is in deep thoughts when she is even with Carter.

Carter sits beside her and places a gentle k**s on her nap. Nora Joliet and look at him. Their faces were so closed. Without wasting his time he catches her soft lips in a slow, gentle k**s. Nora responds to him putting her arms around his neck. Carter picked her up and put on his lamps without breaking a k**s.

After kissing long enough to feel a leak of oxygen they parted. Pulling back, Carter holds his forehead with Nora, taking time to take a breath. Nora finds a single teardrop on Carter’s cheeks.

“Candy…” Nora wipes his tears.

“You don’t trust me?” Carter asked in a heavy tone.

“Carter… I…” Nora avoids looking at him. She looks back to the fountain.

Carter sighs sadly and grabs her face and makes her look at him.

“I can understand why you don’t trust me. But I’ll try to win your trust before I win your heart. Nora… Babe, I can’t live without you. And I promise I’ll never let you go.” Carter’s voice is deadly serious. He keeps his eyes on her.

Nora stared at him and smiled softly. She put her legs around his waist and sat facing him. Carter holds her waist and looks at her face to find what is in her mind.

“What if Miya told you to leave me? Did leave me for her?” She asked the most innocent face she ever made.

“You are my Mate, My pup’s mother, and My Luna. I’ll talk to her about us. I can’t be with her, she needs to know this.” Carter said.

“What if the pack won’t accept me?” She asked, putting her arms around him.

“They will accept you… Don’t worry.” Carter’s hand slides inside her gown and makes her m**n softly.

“What about your parents? Did they… Mmm…” She wasn’t able to talk because Carter locked his lips on her.

“Well you can have him right now but the whole night you are mine, Babe.” Carter wrinkles at her ears with a low tone.

Nora blushed and walked away. Carter follows her.

“You almost made Alpha kill you. Stop teasing him.” I said to Leo.

I met him after I let Carter alone time with Nora. I hope Nora gives him a chance.

“He won’t dare to kill me. If he wants Nora, he needs to hold his anger back.” Leo chuckles softly.

“But still, you almost make him crazy… I was even shocked to hear that she left us.” I was closed to sift through. But then Eric told me that he can smell her scent. So I follow my nose and find her sitting on a branch deep in her thoughts. So I told Alpha before he wipe Leos a*s. These guys have to be serious about their lives.

“Brother Jax, you don’t have to worry. Because Nora knows you will never leave her. But frankly speaking, she was thinking of leaving the city before you both came. She doesn’t want to face you both, especially Carter. She thought he may reject her if Miya wanted. She is scared that she will leave both of you. And seeing both of you sharing her as twins do. Same time Carter and Nora walk there. Ace hugged Nora. They sit and talk.

Time passed and suddenly Nora started to poke my arms. I look at her and my eyebrows got up in question. Nora leans on me. Eric started winning.

We reach her room and she walks to the bathroom. I was standing there not knowing what to do?
