Jax put Nora in her bed. As soon as they got into the pack house, Nora slept in his arms. He makes sure she sleeps peacefully.

He closed the door. He walked to Carter’s room.

“Hey… You come so soon. Where is Nora?” Leo asked. He met him in the middle.

“She is sleeping in her room.” Jax said with a serious tone.

“Brother Jax, are you ok? You look tense.” Leo asked, seeing Jax’s serious face.

“Something happens. I was going to talk to Alpha.”

“Actually, I want to talk to Carter about something too. Come on…” Leo walks to Carter’s door.

Jax followed him and knocked on Carter’s door. Carter opens the door. Seeing both, he was surprised.

“Jax, when will you come? Wait, where is Nora?”

“She is in her room. Alpha, we are here to talk. Can we…”

“Come to my office. Gabby and Abbey are my room.” Carter said, looking back at sleeping girls.

Jax and Leo follow Carter to his office. Carter sat on his chair.

“So why are you back? And Leo, what are you doing with Jax?”

“I’m here to talk.” Leo and Jax said at the same time.

“Ok! So who is going to talk first?” Carter asked.

“Brother Jax you talk… You had something serious to talk about… Right?” Leo asked.

“Ok, Nora and I were on a date when… Nora had a nightmare… She was so scared and continued to say one name…”Jax told them what’s happening in the tents.

“What name?”

“Delta…”

“What? How does this happen?” Leo jumped in shock?

Carter looks at Leo then Jax. He got more serious.

“Why are you so shocked? Have you heard his name?” Jax asked.

“Yes, I came here to talk about Miya and Delta.”

“Miya and Delta? What is the meaning of that, Leo?” Carter looked confused.

“Today I saw Miya in the mall and…” Leo told them what he saw and heard.

“That Damn woman. I trust her and she doing this… F**k! I REJECT MY MATE FOR THAT SULT!! FIND WHERE MIYA.” Carter growled in anger at the whole pack house. His eyes were getting red. His feet got tight. He opened the mind link and ordered the whole warrior to find Miya.

“Carter, we need to save Nora. We know Rogues King Delta has become hard for us for years. Now he tries to hurt Nora.”

“He will never be able to touch Nora. Jax, we are not going to let that happen.”

“But Alpha… I was confused. How can Nora know Delta’s name? Did she meet him before, Leo?”Jax asked Leo.

“No way! I never heard that name from her at all. And I was always with her when she was in the hospital. I don’t think she meets him in person.”

“Then…”

“We have to ask her. I don’t know why that rogue’s s**t wants to form, Nora. But it’s not just her dream… Something is happening… I can sense something going to happen. We have to keep her safe. Leo van you talk to Nora. I can feel she only talks to you.”

“Ok, I’ll talk to her tomorrow.” Leo nodded.

“Jax, try to find what’s rogues are up to. Contact our spy… I want every detail about them.”

“Yes, Alpha!” Jax said.

Cater learns on his chair thinking about Miya.

“Alpha… I’m sorry, because of me… Nora is…”

“Don’t be silly! It’s not your fault.” Carter stopped him before he completed his words.

“This is the first time you never blame someone else, Cater. You are improving, huh!”

“Shut up and get out.”

“Yeah… I’ll better see my beautiful Mate. I don’t give time for two crazy wolves.’

” Hold on there… I haven’t permitted you yet. You are not allowed to go into April’s room.“ Carter said in a hurried tone.

“Come on, you want me to talk to Nora tomorrow right? Then you have to permit me to meet my mate in her room.”

“Are you taking advantage of my situation?”

“Of course! Why will I leave this golden chance?” Leo’s eyebrow got curious.

“Leo…”

“You were on top of Nora when you saw Nora, weren’t you? And here are you stopping me from seeing my own mate. You are so selfish!” Leo pouted in anger.

“You tease me lots of times… Did you forget?” Carter smirked devilishly.

“You can’t bully me, Carter… You know Nora always listens to me. If I tell her you’re bullying me by putting me fur away from my mate, she will punish you too.” Leo chuckles softly.

As soon as Carter heard that his face changed. He sighs softly.

“What did you want?”

“I’m taking April to a date tomorrow. I don’t want you to disturb us. In return, I’ll talk to Nora. Deal?”

“Fine, deal. But If you f**k my sister I’ll cut your d**k for sure.”

“Why not? Carter, don’t you want your sister to give you lots of nieces and nephews?”

“She is too young to become a mom.”

“You don’t she was desperate for me you know… I’m sure you will soon get good news for sure… And it’s not my fault I’m saying clearly to you. Don’t blame me…” Leo walked to the door as he said.

“Leo… You…”

“Good night… Spend time with your Mate. I want to get good sleep. Tomorrow is my date. ” Leo waves his hand and walks out of the room.

“Why are you both so different, Jax? He was so annoying and you were calm… How can you both be brothers?”

“He is like my mother. She is always annoying sometimes.” Jax chuckled.

“And you were like your father…” Carter said with a smile.

“Yes, I’m…”

“Anyway, tomorrow we need to work hard. Go to sleep… I’ll go to my room. My girls will get up if they do not find me in the room.”

“Can I be with Nora? I don’t think it is best to leave her alone.”

Carter thought and nodded at him.

“Make sure she sleeps well,” Carter said before walking out.

Nora opens her eyes and is scared. She feels a hand around her waist. She looked beside her, Jax was sleeping peacefully. Seeing his face Nora recalled what happened in the forest and Delta’s words. She now knows that she has not seen a dream. Delta wants her. She feels her heart get heavy. She doesn’t want to leave Jax and Carter.

‘Zoe, why did this happen? Can’t you do something? Why do you always leave me alone with that monster?’ She contacts Zoe.

‘I’m helpless here, Nora. Like you feel the weak front of him. His wolf was more dominant on me. He is not a normal wolf, he holds lots of black power. He is pure evil. He won’t give me time to act. As you know he is really our half-mate. So I can’t hurt him. Nora, what he said was right. You have to keep close to your mates. They protected you from him.’

‘I can’t be with them. You see, he will be hurt, Carter and Jax. I don’t want something to happen to them.’ Nora said looking at Jax’s sleeping face.

‘They both were powerful wolves. He won’t hurt them. He was scaring you, so he got you. Don’t fall into his tricks. Trust your mates. Nora, tell them what is going on. They helped you with this…’ Zoe said in a serious tone.

“Mmm… Baby doll, you wake..” Jax opens his sleeping eyes.

“Sleep more, Jax. You look tired.” Nora places a hand on his eyes.

“Promise me you won’t leave my side until I wake up?”

“I promise…” Nora smiles softly.

Jax picks on her lips and sleeps again holding her close to him. Nora rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.

“Love you, Jax…” She whispers.

Jax opens his eyes and looks at her face. Her eyes were closed, but her lips held a soft smile. Jax can’t hold his smile.

“I love you too, my doll. Thank goddess, she loves me… I’m so happy…” Jax murmured himself. He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes.
