Nora pov

I look at Jax with surprised eyes. He asked me to go out with him and Carter. Is it possible he wants to take me on a date?

“If you don’t want to go, it’s ok. We are not forcing you…” Jax said with a sad smile. He was hoping that I got ready. But now he looks disappointed.

“Wait, yes… I’m ready to go with you and Carter.” I said in a hurry.

“Really?” His eyes widened in shock. He looks cute though.

“Didn’t you just ask me out? And I’m bored by seeing hospitals and sad faces. So I love to go out with both of you…” I said with a blushing face. I was so excited to be with them. Finally, I can get time with them and our mate bond.

“Ok, be ready tomorrow. We are going on long trips. April will help you pack… I’ll tell Alpha about this ok…” Jax was so happy. He minds linking Carter.

After that, we eat with the whole family. I’m ready to know about all of them. Especially about my three gorgeous pups and my two mates. Everyone acts normally around me. But I can see the sadness in their eyes that I can’t reply to them as I did in the past.

I’m going to change this. I’m going to make them happy and put smiles on their faces. I’m ready to work hard for this.

April helped me to pack up my suitcase. Ace and Abby-Gabby were sleeping with me today. So I guess Carter needs to use guest rooms.

“Are you ready?” Carter asked.

I just nodded at him. He took my hand and the other hand was taken by Jax. They both help to go down. Everyone was there to say goodbye.

“Daddy, when will you bring Mommy back?” Ace asked Carter.

“Soon, don’t worry when Mommy comes back she will be your old Mommy.”

“Really?” Ace asked surprised.

“Of course… She will be your loving Mommy, trust me. Okay now, let’s go…” Carter places kids on both pups and waves his hand to others.

Sally and Carter’s mother walk to me. They are both sweet women, like my mother. They take care of my pregnancy so well.

“Take care of you and our grandchildren, Ok?” Sally said.

“If our sons bully you, you can tell us.” Carter’s mom said.

“Mom, I’m not a bully here…” Carter posted like kids.

“Look who is saying…” Leo said in a teasing tone.

“You, shut your mouth and stay away from my sister.”

“That won’t happen. Maybe when you come you can find that she is pregnant.” Leo said in a teasing tone.

“Leo…” Carter growled in age, and April blush.

“Now go… Or will we both be together? Our Date was still on hold, you know.” Leo chucked at him.

“Come on, Alpha. You can deal with Leo later.” Jax said and pulled me for a walk.

“Yes, wait for me… And keep your d**k in pants.” Carter said and followed us.

“I can’t promise that…” Leo yelled from behind.

“Why did I allow him to come into my house?”

“Because he is your best friend and your sister’s Mate.” Jax chuckles and opens the door for me.

I sat in the back seat. Carter also sits beside me and Jax takes the driver to sit. He started the car and drove carefully.

“Finally, We are free to do anything… I was so tired of doing Alpha’s duty.” Carter said with a deep breath.

I was just staring at him. He wore a light blue shirt with black pants, and his brown hair was messy. He never combed today. Jax is also wearing normal shit- pants. But to me, they look handsome and manly.

“So where are we going?” I asked.

Carter looked at me then smiled charmingly. I gulped as my mind can’t stop showing dirty images about having them.

“It’s a surprise, Babe.” Carter wrinkles at me and pulls me to his lamp.

“We will get there soon. You can get some sleep if you want.” Carter’s gentle and low tone was so calming.

I put my head on his chest and closed my eyes. His heartbeat, making sleep soon.

No one pov

Nora felt cold air on her face and her sleep broken. She opened her eyes. She was in the car alone. Carter and Jax were nowhere to be found. She looked around, the whole place was a jungle and light rain was falling.

“Where are they going? Carter… Jax…” She called them.

But she did not get any reply and she got out of the car looking around. That was a deep forest. She recalled Delta’s place. That was the same in the deep forest. She wants to meet Delta, but not like this. She wants to know about her two mates first. And now she is alone in the forest.

“Did they leave me here alone? They don’t want me anymore? Did they call Delta to take me back?” Nora got more panicked.

She walked around to see the place. Her clothes got wet from the rain. But to her, finding her two mates was important. So she walked along the path she found. She keeps walking like that. The day was getting dark and the forest got dark.

Suddenly she heard two hauls. She froze in place. She is getting scared of animals. She wraps her hand on her belly to protect. She looked in another direction, the running sound came from.

After two short times two large size wolf’s jump in front of her. Her eyes widened in shock.

Two wolves growled at her in anger. She stepped back in fear. As she stepped back she lost her balance, and at the same time, one of the wolves jumped on her. She closed her eyes in fear.

‘Carter… Jax… Help me…’ She cried in her heart.

Other hands…

Carter and Jax walk back to the car. But they were shocked to see an empty car.

“Where is she going?” Carter asked in a panic.

“I can smell her… She is around here.” Max said, looking around.

“I told you to not leave her alone.”

“You are the one who asked me to shift our suitcase. Now is not the time for arguing, we need to find her.” Max said in a serious tone.

“But why did she leave the car? What if something happens to her… What if… Delta… s**t!!”

“Let’s go…” Jax shifts into the wolf in second.

Carter does the same. and they follow Nora’s scents. As they ran faster they heard two hauled. They now run more fast-growing in anger. They can sense Nora is in danger.
