Nora pov

I open my eyes and I see I was in a different room. I have never seen this room before. The whole room was painted red. I smell some medicine and Henna scents. I have never seen this room before. I tried to move them and I noticed I was in the chain again. I was in a sitting position and my hands were chained up to the wall. I was wearing long white gowns. Maybe Delta will help me dress.

I thought Delta would trust me to let me walk free. But here I was tight in the chain again.

“So you wake?” Henna’s voice makes me look at the door.

“Henna, why am I here? Where is Delta?”

Henna smiles mysteriously and walks to me. I had a bad feeling about this.

“King with his mother getting ready to make you his full mate.” Henna said.

“How can this be possible?”

“Magic dear… Delta is going to use big magic to get. He really loves me a lot.” Henna said.

“Henna, please tell me what exactly he is going to do?” I asked to feel uncomfortable.

“I’d love to because you were going to see everything… Every moment of the war.”

“War? What did you mean by war?”

“You two mates were coming here to save you. But they didn’t know they were stepping in their own grave. Delta keeps their eyes on them.”

“What? Don’t tell me he is going to…”

“Kill your both mates!”

“No!! No, please no!!” I can’t believe Delta is really going to kill Carter and Jax. I need to find a way to talk to Delta. I need to stop him.

“No, Henna, let me go…” I struggled to get free. My hand is now getting bloody, but I don’t care about this. Tears were ready to fall. The thought of losing a mate is like a heart attack. I can’t lose them, one anyone.

“I can’t… You were free when your mates died. I was here to help you release your rejection pain.” Henna said and walked to a small desk. She was doing something with different potions and herbs.

My heart is getting out of control. I can hear my own heart beating so loud. It was like I was in darkness. Suddenly Zoes voice pulled out.

‘Nora, calm down… I’m here with you.’ Zoe’s voice rings in my mind.

‘Zoe, where do you go these days? I miss you so much. I need your help to save our mate. I can’t lose Carter and Jax. I love both of them. I need to go there… Please, Zoe, help me.’ I bagged her.

‘I told you to calm down. We were getting there and saving them. But I need to generate power. Nora, we had just one chance to get free. Because I can’t leave our pups without protection. I was protecting our pups this whole time. Because Delta’s poison was trying to reach the other two pups. My power was holding his poison as much as possible. So you and I get only one chance. When I get ready, just tell me. You get five minutes to do all this. Like leaving from here too we’re so war going began. And then, reject Delta at the right time.’

‘Reject Delta?’ I can’t help but feel sad.

‘If you need to save Carter and Jax you need to break the weak bond with Delta. When you Delta’s get his power half.’

‘And? Did he die?’

‘It depends on their fights. I can’t say what’s going to happen in the future. But Let me remind you, Nora. You have chosen one Delta or Carter- Jax.’

‘Like I don’t have any options.’ Sigh sadly.

‘What Delta did and is going to do is fair to face rejection. And you have to because Delta was not an old one. He became a monster as Henna says. He wants you worse than his mother Melissa helping him for this.’

‘I don’t know why she is helping him? Didn’t she see Delta wrong?’

‘She is mother…’ Zoe was going to say more when I heard footsteps.

The door opens and someone comes inside. I look up and see Melissa with a soft smile.

“Queen Witch!! Why are you here?” Henna got up in a hurry and ran to Melissa.

“I want to talk to her.” Melissa pointed to me.

“Ok.” Henna nods.

“Leave us alone.” Melissa likes ordering Henna.

“Ok.” Henna bowed and walked out of the room.

Melissa looked at me and pulled a chair for her to sit on. After she sits down on a chair, her eyes meet mine.

“I’m sorry…” Melissa said in a low tone.

“Sorry for what?” I look at her in confusion.

“To make you Delta’s Mate. You know when I find out Delta does not get a true mate in his life. This punishment from the Moon goddess breaks the breeding process. I was going to have pups, but I need to wait for the right time. But what I did was forcefully try to become pregnant, by using old magic. I just want to be a mother. So did magic. The moon goddess got angry at me, and told me that my son would never get a mate in his life.”

“Oh.,. Then who can I become his half mate?” I was so confused.

Melissa smiles sadly. I can feel she is feeling guilty about her actions.

“I was so sad when hearing the moon goddess’ words. I begged her to spread my son. Give him mate, you know he is a werewolf, he needs the mate to process his hair, his own family. Delta never gets love and happiness. And that happens when he meets his own mate.” Melissa said.

I was so shocked Melissa was a powerful witch, and her one mistake made Delta mateless.

“So did the moon goddess give him a mate?”

“No, it was me who cast a strong, powerful spell and pulled you to the inmate process. You and Carter are two pairs of wolf couples. You mean to be a mate, and I see that very starting. I need powerful women who have power and a strong womb to be able to bear my son’s pups. And I can see you were carrying very well.” Her eyes dropped to my belly.

I pulled my leg to hide my belly. I don’t like her staring at my belly.

“Are you saying that maybe I’ll do something to your pups? Well, I can feel the power of your pups with Carter and the three in your womb. Six pups with lots of power. No one can beat them. And I feel one of them was Delta’s son.” Melissa chuckled at my act and said it.

“They are the same to me.” I said.

“Of course. You are a mother like me. You never hate your pups.” Melissa said with a sad smile.

“I’m not like you. You break many rules of the moon goddess. Making her angry you write Delta bad fortunes. You pulled me just to carry his pups! And I’ve never done something so cruel to my son. You mess not just your son, you mess my, and my mates and pups life like a game. Whoever wins, the other one loses for sure. Now my pups and my mates’ lives are in danger because of you.” I growled in anger.

“I know I’m wrong here, but I just want my son to be happy. And if he feels happy with you, then I’ll do anything to make that happen. So today’s war is going to win, my son.”

“Then what? If he win, he will never win my heart… I hate him for killing my mate.” I said in an angry tone.

“You will forget them, just like before you forget. Delta b***d was powerful enough to erase your memory once again.” Melissa got up from the chair and said with a smile.

I can’t help feeling shiver in fear. I don’t want that to happen.

“The war is being…” Henna walked inside with a smile.

“Really, show me…” Melissa said to Henna.

Henna nodded her head and waved her hand to a big mirror on the wall. Soon the mirror changes and shows Delta and Carter standing face to face. I shiver when I see them.

They look ready to fight.

‘Zoe, are you ready?’ I try to contact Zoe.

‘Give some time, I was closed.’ Zoe said in reply.

I look back at the mirror. Soon the war will start.
