Nora pov

Alan gave us some kind of clothes for protection from poison. I don’t want to wear that, but Carter won’t allow me to get there without a suit, so I wear that when we walk into a bright room. The room wall is white and empty, just some machines in the middle. Small baby bed in the middle. Around the bed was a glass box.

‘Candy…’ Because of our suite we are using a mind link.

“He is inside…” Carter pointed to the glass box.

I nodded and stepped closer to bed. I see on white baby laying. I see the same color on Delta. So Delta was right, he transferred his power to his son. He looked so weak, I could hardly hear his heartbeats. His eyes were closed, a small oxygen tube was in his nose. Small machines attached his cheat so the machine could hear his heart rate. I can’t see him like this. I want to hold him, feed him my milk. I raise my hand to touch the glass.

‘ Don’t touch, Babe. I don’t want to lose you…’ Carter held my hand to stop me.

‘ And I don’t want to lose my pups.’ I shouted at him.

‘ Please, love… Try to understand me…’ Carter’s look hurts.

I know he worried about me. But I’m worried about my pups, who are hardly breathing.

‘ You try to understand me, Candy. Like you can’t see me dead, same as you I can’t see him dead. Please…’ I said and cut my mind.

I pulled my hand back and saw my pup. He slowly opened his eyes. They are all black like his father. When Delta got angry, he became blue and his eyes became black. I saw his real body last time. Back eyes with red pupils, blue skin color. He is a carbon copy of his father ‘ Delta’.

I slowly open the box and try to touch him. But Carter held my hand again.

‘ Babe, don’t do this…’ I feel scared in his voice.

‘ Candy, I’m his mother… Let me do this…’ I said in a sad tone.

‘ If you die… I swear to goddess I’ll kill myself. Without you, I can’t imagine life…’ He said in a cold tone.

I just nodded in understanding. And remove hand gloves. He might sense me if his eyes turn to me. Anyone can get scared seeing his black eyes. But to me, I can see eyes like this.

I feel his eyes stop at me, staring at me. His little hand moves in the air like he wants to hold something. I can’t help but feel tears in my eyes. I touch his hand softly. My other hand rub his cheeks and he blinks at me, his finger catching my finger

“Babe, are you ok?” I heard Carter’s weak voice.

I look back he is like me without a suit and he looks out of breath. Blue fog around him made it hard to breathe.

“Candy, are you ok?” I try to touch him.

“His poison makes me suffocate… Babe, please wear your suit. I don’t want to risk your life.” He fell to his knees.

“Candy…” I ran to him. And hold him in my arms.

“Wear the.,. Ah…” He g*****d in pain holding his chest. He struggled to breathe, his face got red and blue like poison. I miss my breath. He is only suffering from pups’ poison. But I never feel anything.

“Candy… Candy… Alan… Alan…” I shouted to Alan in a panic tone.

“On the way, Luna…” Alan’s voice echoed in the room. He was keeping eyes on us from the monitor room.

‘ Nora… I know the way we save our mate.’ Zoe’s voice rings in mind.

‘ Zoe, tell me, how can we save Candy…’ I asked in a hurry.

‘ Our pup’s poison attacked our mate. Because he is scared and angry at not being able to find you. He wants you. To save Carter, pick up our pups and feed him your milk. Hurry up, Carter getting weak. He can’t hold too long.” Zoe’s voice is damn serious.

“Ok.” I put Carter on the floor and stood up.

“Wait… Babe… Where are you going?” Carter grabbed my hand.

“Candy… Just trust me. It will be alright.” I said in a painful tone. I’m feeling his pain because I’m his mate. And I know how much he is in pain.

He looked at me from his closing eyes and nodded in understanding. He slowly let my hand go. He trusts me and that is what I want. I don’t waste my time, I walk to the pup’s bed. I picked him up. I pulled my gown from my shoulder and pulled my breast out.

Suddenly, the door opens and Alan and one nurse run inside wearing the same suit.

“Turn around!!” Carter growled at them.

Alan sees what’s going on, he then goes back to me. I ignored them and held pups on my chest. Feeling my skin touch he started crying.

“He started crying… Luna, Are you alright?” Alan asked.

“Leave us alone…” Carter growled at them. He jumps on his feet and stands in front of me.

“Yes, Alpha…” Alan said.

I see Alan and the nurse run out of the room.

“Candy, why do you do that?” I Look at Carter. He looks better. Then I looked back and the pups were crying.

“I don’t want him to see your boobs.” He said step close to me.

I roll my eyes and look down at my pups. He was now searching for something. His mouth was opening like a goldfish. I help him to take ni**les in his mouth. I feel light pain when he shucks milk. But soon the milk came out.

“Look at him, little knotty… Almost kill his daddy, just for milk?” Carter chuckles at his reaction.

I just smile and enjoy feeding him. Suddenly, his skin color began to change, his hair and face feature the same as Delta.

“His color changed… And his face is much like him.” Carter mutters a low tone.

“He was feeling insecure, that’s why he shifted like Delta and attacked others. Now he knows his mother here. He is now back to normal.” I told Carter and ran my finger in his hair.

His eyes open, they are the same as Delta red and purple. Slowly his eyes close and he drools in sleep. His lips let go of my ni**les and I hold him in my arms.

“Can I hold him?” Cater asked.

I look at him and hand him pups. He holds him carefully. We wait for something to happen again, but nothing happens. Carter looks alright. Just pups opened their eyes and stared at Carter for some time. Then he closed his eyes and slept again. He felt relaxed and secured in Carter’s arms. His one hand holding Carter’s t-shirt.

“He is relaxed now.” Carter said with a smile.

“And he likes you.” I said, smiling satisfied.

“Of course, he likes his Dad… Aham… Babe, can you put on gowns? I don’t want to distract from my pups. Just because they look delicious…” Carter pointed to my open boob, seductively licking his lips.

“You, prevent…” I slept in his arms and pulled up my grown.

“Hey, champ… Did mommy’s boob test go well?” He asked in a low tone.

“Candy, you can’t say something like that to our pups.” I snapped at him with a red face.

“But he is small and his choice is the same as mine… Seeing his reaction they are really good.” He chuckles softly.

“Candy…” Before I beat him Jax’s mink linked me.

‘ Baby doll, pups wake and want milk… Can you please come here?’ Jax asked in a low tone.

‘ We are coming there.’ I said and cut my mind.

“Jax?” Carter asked, looking at me.

“Yep, pups wake up,” I said with a smile.

“I don’t think so… He was dying to see you. You know he became a dead man when you passed out after giving birth. I used my Alpha tone on him, so he bolted his s**t up. But he was still crying like a baby. He was comparing his past to your condition. In short, he was scared to lose you.” Carter said, chuckling recalling what he saw.

“I know he had a bad experience about birth, I can understand that. But Candy, don’t you cry too?” I give him questioning eyes.

“What? I cry too, so much in my heart. I’m Alpha. I can’t show how weak I feel at that time. But Jax was crying like a baby…” Carter said in a teasing tone.

“Don’t you dare to tease him? If you do, then you will be out of room for the rest of your life. Maybe you can sleep with pups.” I struggled and began to walk away.

“What? No, I want you, my love. I’ll keep my mouth shut up, ok?” Carter said, following me in a hurry.

“Ok.” I said and we both walked out of the room. Carter kept holding pups close to him.

We meet Alan and he looks shocked when he sees normal pups in Carter’s arms. Carter told him what happened. Alan nodded in agreement and we both came back to my room, where Jax walked around the room. I feel he is tense and worried. When I stepped in he stopped in his tracks and sniffed in the air. His eyes closed when he turned to me.

“Jax… I’m back…” I said in a low, gentle tone.

He slowly opened his eyes and kept staring at me. Finding words to talk about. Pups were sleeping in their crib peacefully. Carter is right, he lied.

“Baby doll… Are…” He opened his mouth to say something.

But I never give him time to talk. I run to him and jump in his arms. He catches me up in time as I catch his lips in my lips for a deep passionate k**s. He responded to my k**s with his hot tongue. Search, sucking my mouth. I m**n in his k**s.

“We can’t… She is weak and our pups need her. More than us.” Jax said.

“Well, I can’t help it, when I had two hot mates around me. Their delicate body and scents drive me crazy. So you better stop looking ready to eat.” I chuckle seductively don’t.

Both eyes turn dark in l**t. But they pulled back, shaking their heads.

“Jax… Take a look at our chap…” Carter pulled Jax to pups on the bed and began to tell him what happened in the special room.

Jax holds pups in arms, and as he did before just opens his eyes and looks at Jax and sleeps again.

“So he is not scared of you either.” Carter comments.

“Maybe he knows I’m not harmful to him.” Jax said with a smile.

“Or he just smells the scent of babes on me. You know pups’ noses are more sensitive than us. They can guess who was holding them, just by scents.” Carter said.

“And you both are carrying my scents…” I said looking at them.

“You are right…” Carter node.

“You need to rest now.” Jax hands pups to Carter and helps me to lay down on the bed.

“Babe, I’m putting him with our pups, let’s see how they react ” Carter said and put pups in between both pups. To our surprise, both pups look comfortable and sleep peacefully.

“Thank goddess, they are fine.” Carter put sheets on them.

“They have to… They were together.” Jax said with a smile.

I close my eyes to sleep. Now that I see my whole pups and mates fine. I need to rest so I can spend my time with them.
