Watching Lyndon’s tall back, Tilda curled her fingers into a fist and hurried to follow him.

They entered the hospital and took the elevator to the floor where children received vaccinations.

“I’ll get the number.

You sit here and wait,” Lyndon said, setting Sheldon down.

The warm indoor temperature prompted him to take off his coat.

“Give me the coat,” Tilda said, reaching out.

Lyndon glanced at her before handing over the coat.

Tilda took it and sat in the waiting area with Sheldon on her lap.
