“Well, did you see Eleanor, the famous star, when you came out of his office?” Maggie asked in a low voice, obviously insinuating something.

“I heard that she was with Mr.

Hughes again the night before last.

I don’t know what exactly is going on between them, but Eleanor seems to be special to him.

Go to the records room and fetch something for me.

With a smile, Maggie stood up and left.

But just a few minutes later, she came back angrily.

“Rosalynn, I wasn’t able to get the document you wanted.

“And why is that?”

Dumbfounded, Rosalynn stopped what she was doing and looked up at Maggie.

“The clerk in the records room said that if you want it, you’ll have to secure Giselle’s approval first.

I may be a newbie, but I know that such a rule doesn’t exist.

It’s obvious that she’s just making things difficult for you,” Maggie said in an irritated tone.

Looking at the director’s office not far away, Rosalynn quickly understood what was going on.

Giselle admired Keegan and only had eyes for him.

Therefore, Giselle must dislike her even more.

Pursing her red lips, Rosalynn stood up and walked to the records room.

Inside the room, two clerks were just playing with their phones.
