“Good afternoon, Brea, Lyndon, Tilda,” Rosalynn greeted them, her gaze drifting to Tilda with a flicker of surprise.

The sight of Tilda reminded her of a recent unsettling incident near a cliff, something she had hoped to discuss privately with Tilda when the time was right.

He apologized to them after standing up, and then went outside to take the call.

Rosalynn then glanced at Tilda and thought for a while.

Eventually, she said, “Mom, I’d like to go outside and walk a bit under the sun.

The truth was that she wanted to talk with Tilda alone.

I’ll go with you then,” Gail offered.

Stay here and chat with Auntie some more.

Tilda can accompany me instead,” Rosalynn replied.

After saying that, she slowly lifted the blanket, set it aside, and got out of bed.

Gail glanced at Tilda, who was getting up, and handed Rosalynn her coat.
