“I’ve got to go,” Lyndon announced.

I promise to repay you as soon as I can,” Rita said, bowing deeply.

Lyndon didn’t linger and walked briskly toward the elevator.

He rode the elevator to the floor where Rosalynn was staying.

“Lyndon, where have you been?” Brea inquired as he entered.

“I was held up by something just now,” Lyndon explained.

“What happened? Was there a medical issue?” Brea asked, her concern piqued by the possibility of a medical dispute.

Hearing this, Tilda also looked worriedly at Lyndon.

I helped a young woman who was desperate to pay for her grandmother’s medical treatment.

The group engaged in light conversation for a while longer before Brea decided to leave.

Rosalynn and Gail saw them out, with Gail remarking, “The couple seems to be doing well.

Lyndon has moved on from his past relationship, right?”

Rosalynn smiled.

“Tilda is a nice woman, and Lyndon is a good man.

They should find happiness together.

“Yes, they should.

” Gail hummed in agreement before suggesting, “Are you hungry? How about having some chicken soup?”
