My Bossy CEO Husband -
Chapter 2603
For Sanford, who had always lived a life of privilege and health, the idea of being permanently disabled was almost unbearable.
He had been admired and envied by all, but things would change if he were paralyzed for life.
The thought of being confined to a wheelchair forever loomed over him, threatening to upend everything he had known.
Additionally, his family might not support the idea of a disabled leader, potentially resulting in his ousting from the leadership of the Robles Group.
More than anything, they worried about how this would affect Sanford’s mental state.
Sanford, who had once lived a life of ease and indulgence, now faced the need for help with every simple task.
This dramatic shift could deeply affect his personality.
Brian, sitting on the edge of the bed, looked at Sanford with genuine sorrow.
“Sanford, I’m so sorry.
This is all my fault,” he said, his voice filled with regret as he observed his friend, who seemed drained and defeated.

Sanford took a deep breath and mustered a determined expression.
“Stop apologizing,” he said.
“Don’t look so down.
Rosalynn said I have a 50% chance of walking again.
I’m putting my trust in her.”
Rosalynn understood that Sanford’s words were intended to ease Brian’s guilt.
She gave a firm nod.
“Rest assured,” she said, her tone sincere.
“I’ll do my best.”
Sanford pulled at the corner of his mouth in a faint smile.
“So, when are we going back?”
“We’ll stay here for the night.
Tomorrow, we’ll head back,” Brian said.
““Okay.”” Sanford nodded slowly, his eyes drifting toward the ceiling.
“I wonder if Maggie will leave me when she sees I’m not the same.”
Rosalynn replied quickly, “There’s no way she would.
Maggie’s not like that.”
Sanford gave a faint smile, choosing not to say more, letting her words settle.
Shari’s voice came softly from the doorway.
“Mrs.
Hughes, I brought some porridge for Mr.
Robles.
You guys should have breakfast.”
Rosalynn turned and gave Shari a small, grateful nod.
“Thank you, Shari.”
“You’re welcome,” Shari replied with a warm smile.
Then she placed the breakfast on the table, noticing Sanford watching her.
She offered a kind smile and introduced herself.
“Hi, Mr.
Robles, I’m Shari Dixon.
You guys saved me from Leon.”
Sanford gave a slight nod.
“Hello.”
