Rosalynn’s arms wrapped around his neck, her eyes closed, and she kissed him back with equal intensity.

The agony of almost losing each other and the happiness of being together tied their hearts together.

They just wanted to please each other.

“Shall we go to the bathroom?” Brian asked, his eyes deep and his breath coming in quick gasps.

Rosalynn’s body felt limp in his arms, her eyes sparkling with charm and love.

She gave a small nod in agreement.

Brian smiled warmly, scooped her up in a princess carry, and ambled toward the bathroom.

Early the next morning, Rosalynn carried the breakfast that Gail had instructed the servants to prepare and accompanied Brian to the hospital.

“Sanford,” Brian called out as he, holding Rosalynn’s hand, entered the ward.

Sanford, who had just been assisted by Maggie in freshening up, greeted them with a smile.

“You arrived here quite early.”

Rosalynn set the breakfast on the table, a gentle smile playing on her lips.

“I brought you breakfast.

Make sure to eat it while it’s still warm.”

“Rosalynn, you’re still pregnant and must be tired.

You don’t need to come this early in the future,” Maggie chimed in, concern lacing her voice.

Rosalynn touched her belly softly, her eyes crinkling with a tender glow.

The baby is quite understanding.

He knows his godfather is injured and is being exceptionally cooperative, not causing any trouble.”

“Your baby will be born in less than six months.

I wonder if I will be able to walk and hold him by then.”

“A godfather as admirable as you-it’s unthinkable for you not to be able to walk,” Brian reassured him.

Sanford’s eyes twinkled with humor.

As they conversed, the door creaked open and Shari entered.

Shari placed the breakfast she brought on the table and noticed Maggie preparing to serve Sanford.
