“How about we take a group photo?”

Karina’s face lit up.

“Sounds great!”

With a nod from her, everyone quickly found their spots, arranging themselves with a mix of laughter and friendly shuffling.

Rosalynn passed her phone to a nearby servant, asking him to stand on a chair to get the best shot.

This way, the photo would be clear and vivid.

Shari glanced over at Kyson, her eyes sparkling with intent, and moved closer to him.

“Kyson, could I stand next to you?” she asked, her voice warm and inviting.

Kyson’s discomfort was clear, but he gave a small, reluctant nod.

Shari added with a playful smile, “You’re so tall.

Standing behind you will make me look even shorter.”

Kyson glanced at her and said, “You’re already pretty petite.”

Shari flashed a bright smile but didn’t say anything in response.

When the servant announced it was time for the photo, she slid into place next to Kyson and gave a cheerful peace sign.

The servant took a series of photos, each click of his camera capturing the moment.

When he finally stopped, Rosalynn eagerly took the phone and began scrolling through the images.

Karina and Maggie leaned in, their eyes following Rosalynn’s movements as they examined the photos.

“This one’s not usable,” Karina said, frowning as she noticed her eyes shut tightly in the picture.

She continued assessing the photos with a critical eye.

“And this one isn’t any better.

Why does every photo make my face look so puffy?” Karina asked, running her fingers over her cheeks.

Rosalynn glanced at her and teased, “Is it puffy? Or did you maybe gain a bit of weight?”

Karina’s eyes widened in shock.

“Did I really gain weight?”

With a playful smirk, Rosalynn replied, “Didn’t you?”

Karina shook her head vigorously.

“No, no, no.

I check my weight every day.

I haven’t gained any weight.”

Maggie giggled.

“Karina, I swear, it’s all that love that makes your face look so full and glowing!”

Karina’s eyes flicked toward Barlow, who sat casually next to Haleigh, before she rolled them and scoffed, “Love? Who’s in love?”

Rosalynn and Maggie shot each other a look before they both chimed in, “Who’s pretending now?”
