Bob became even angrier after what Herein said.

He had been working for Eden Joy for many years. Even if they did not appreciate his hard work, he had done his job at the very least. He did not expect he would come to this in the end.

“Herein, I won't work for Eden Joy anymore!” Bob said coldly,” From now onward, I'll be working for Mr. Yarde! If you dare to lay your finger on my sister, you're disrespecting Mr. Yarde!”

Herein scoffed and said sarcastically, “Mr. Yarde ? Since when have we had such a person in Skyspring? Why didn't I know about it?”

Bob said, “He comes from Clouspring, and he’s the one who killed Zeus. Now you know who he is?" Herein fell silent for a moment. Honestly, Bob did not know if he was doing the right thing or not. He was not someone from a higher social circle, so he did not know much about Zeus.

What really fueled his confidence was the scene of Kayson defeating four grandmasters.

"You're talking about Kayson Yarde ?" Herein’s voice changed.

Bob was stunned as he could sense fear in Herein's voice.

His heart picked up its pace, and it seemed to him that whoever Zeus was that got killed by Kayson, he must be someone of high status.

Bob straightened his back and said confidently , “That's right! Mr. Yarde killed Luke as well!”

Herein hung up the call instantly.

Bob heaved out a sigh of relief and seemed agitated. He turned his head around and said, “Yuna, we're in luck! Mr. Yarde is even more terrifying than I thought he was!”

Yuna was happy as well and replied excitedly, “Brother, we need to maintain a good relationship with Mr. Yarde.”

“You're right!” Bob let out a long sigh and continued. “Mr. Yarde is a righteous person. Nothing will go wrong if we work for him, unlike those people from Eden Joy. No matter what I do, they'll only treat me like a dog.”

After Kayson came out of Bob's place, he decided to go look for Zidane.

When he was on his way, he received a call from him.

He did not know why, but Zidane sounded anxious, “Mr. Yarde! You've got to help us! My granddaughter suddenly collapsed, and her face turned black. She looks like a zombie now!” Kayson frowned slightly and picked up his pace. “I'll be there in three minutes. Stay where you are, and don't touch her.”

“You need to hurry up, Mr. Yarde! She's vomiting blood now!"

Kayson picked up his pace without saying anything and arrived at Vivian's house in less than three minutes.

Zidane was a grandmaster , but he was so anxious right now that he nearly got to his knees and prayed to heaven.

When Kayson appeared in his vision, he nearly jumped on him.

Kayson ignored him and made his way up to Vivian in the kitchen

She was lying on the floor. Her skin had become so dry that it seemed as if all the water was leaving her body.

Kayson hastily injected some evergreen energy into her, and only then did her condition improve. “Master Gould, please go get me some charm papers. Hurry.”

“Okay!”

After Zidane left, Kayson pulled out his silver needles and stuck them into her acupoints before transferring some lighting energy into Vivian.

"Extermination Curse... They really are going to kill Vivian. It seems like the one who cast the Soul— silencing Curse is from Eden Joy.”

Kayson knew what was going on with Vivian. This was because this aura was similar to the aura he had sensed when he came here to help her remove the Soul-silencing Curse.

Soon, Zidane returned. Kayson took over the charm paper and drew something on it. This was the “Fixate Charm” he had learned from the Shamanian Society, and it was the perfect counter to the Extermination Curse.

The last time he had gotten some charm papers from Poison Pop, one of them was the Fixate Charm.
