Hogan then revealed, "It seems that the president has been looking for a succesor."

Madam Quartley was shocked.

She couldn't believe it. "Tremaine is looking for a successor? How is this possible? He is still so young! Is he going to just give up his position?"

"I find it very strange as well." Hogan explained, "Lately, a young man has been brought to the presidential office to see him. He appears to be very talented in all aspects. Tremaine has been slowly explaining his roles and duties to him." "I suspect he intends this young man to replace him."

Madam Quartley's heart sank.

There is absolutely no reason for Tremaine to look for a replacement as such a young age!

Tremaine has been doing an excellent job. Why is he doing this?

Madam Quartley had been very happy when she noticed how well he had been doing at the presidential office.

She was elated at first. She assumed that Tremaine had finally let go of the past and had begun to accept Rorita.

But now, talking to Hogan over the phone, she realized that things weren't as simple as they seemed.

After she ended the call with Hogan, Madam Quartley began to think about where Tremaine had disappeared to in those few days.

She still hadn't found out where he had gone.

She had tried to contact Tremaine, but no matter what she tried, she couldn't reach him.

There was no trace of him anywhere.

She thought she would have been able to gather some clues after he came back. But she wasn't able to find any.

While she was busy with her thoughts, Yuliana approached her.

Yuliana noticed that something was bothering Madam Quartley and asked her about it. Madam Quartley then told her everything. Yuliana's eyes flashed.

She immediately suspected that Tremaine had gone to see Yesseca in those few days.

She guessed that Tremaine had found out about Yesseca's heart condition.

But she chose not to say this back then, in case she was wrong.

If she had said it and was proven wrong, she would have looked like a fool.

But when Madam Quartley told her about her suspicion about Tremaine training a successor, Yuliana was convinced that her hunch was right. Tremaine must have found out that Yesseca was dying!

Yuliana was certain now that Tremaine was doing this so that he could be with Yesseca one last time!

Yesseca could go at any time now!

It could take a few months or maybe a year.

Tremaine can't be away from Nashaland for such a long time, that's why he hatched this plan!

Tremaine was still in love with Yesseca!

Yuliana was angry, jealous and worried at the same time.

If Tremaine is no longer president, she would no longer enjoy the power and benefits that she had now!

Not anymore!

After all, being the wife of the president's brother was a very powerful title.

Yuliana decided to convince Madam Quartley to put a stop to Tremaine's plans.

However, she wasn't quite sure how to word this to Madam Quartley, so she said, "Madam Quartley, it's obvious that Tremaine hasn't forgotten about Yesseca. We should look into Yesseca, he might have gone to see her in those few days. The reason Tremaine is giving up his role as president might be because of Yesseca!"

This immediately alarmed Madam Quartley!

Madam Quartley raised her voice, "It must be Yesseca! She's the only one who could make Tremaine act so irrationally!"

Madam Quartley immediately ordered some of her men to check on Yesseca. She was then informed that Yesseca had been hospitalized.

Her men returned to inform Madam

Quartley that Yesseca had a heart condition, but because they were unsure about the specific details they only told her that Yesseca had been hospitalized.

Madam Quartley didn't think much of it at first, but then Yuliana

pressed, "Madam Quartley, it's possible that Yesseca has a serious illness. That's why she's been hospitalized for so long. It also makes sense that Tremaine would want to spend as much time as he can with her."
