Kevin, Jasper, and Steffan were preparing a barbecue on the terrace outside the glass house.

With the screen above the glasshouse opened, a slight tilt of the head allowed them to see the brilliant stars light years away.

The barbecued delicacies they made themselves were delicious and healthy, and the kids were having a great time.

Kevin grilled a plate of food, put it in front of Esther, and said, "Esther, eat more. You might not get to enjoy my barbecues again."

Jasper looked disgusted and cut in, "Kevin, look at how burnt it is. Esther, you should try mine!"

Xara watched Kevin and Jasper exchange with a mysterious smile. Everyone gathered together, enjoying their barbecue.

Jasper approached Esther. "I have a gift for you."

Esther was slightly surprised. "A gift?"

"To celebrate your new beginning." Jasper took Felix and Sunshine's hands and said, "Follow me."

Puzzled, Esther followed Jasper to the outdoor terrace. She looked around but didn't see a wrapped gift. Suddenly, there was a loud boom like thunder.

A beautiful firework burst into a brilliant display in the night sky. More fireworks followed, lighting up the night as bright as day. The colorful lights cast ever-changing patterns on everyone's faces. The radiant glow reflected on Esther's face made her look delicate and incredibly beautiful.

Esther watched the fireworks in awe. For some reason, a tear rolled down the corner of her eye. The fireworks were breathtaking.

She looked up at the fireworks while Kevin and Jasper watched her.

Meanwhile, Esther's phone rang repeatedly inside the glass house, then quieted down each time.

After an hour-long fireworks display, it finally ended.

"Did you like it?" Jasper asked.

Sunshine answered for Esther, "We loved it! We loved it so much!"

"Esther, it seems like you have everything you need, so... I've given you this," Jasper said, his voice clear and soothing. "If you miss me when you're abroad, just think of tonight's fireworks."

"It's really beautiful," Esther said, her chest swelling up with unnamed emotions. "I really like it. Thank you."

"Alright, it's cold outside. Let's go back into the glass house." Xara was concerned that the kids might catch a cold and ushered them back inside.

Esther followed them back inside, and Kevin patted Jasper's shoulder sympathetically. "Jasper, you have a long journey ahead. Keep going!"

Kevin thought to himself that Esther was a good girl. If Bradley didn't want to cherish her, someone else would be willing to. Actually, Jasper seemed like a decent candidate.

He had been firmly on Bradley's side in the past, which was why he didn't like Jasper. However, after spending time with Jasper, he felt that Jasper was more suitable for Esther than Bradley.

Esther saw that she had missed calls on her phone. She opened them and saw that it was Jolene.

Thinking about Jolene and Chadwick's situation and knowing that Jolene's father was a DEA agent like her own father, she picked up the phone and walked into the bathroom. "Jolene!"

"Esther, help me!"
