My Jealous Alpha Stepbrother -
Chapter 173
Michelle
After waking up from my nightmare, I’m a mess. I’m panting and shaking, close to falling into a series of screams again before Kit strokes my back with his tail. His arms are around me, and his huge, yellow eyes seek mine.
“Hey, hey, you’re okay,” he whispers with his sharp canine teeth showing in his gentle smile. “It was a bad dream. You’re okay. I’m here.”
Even though the nightmare had been about demons attacking me, I’m not scared of the big one holding me. My mate is a good demon, and his presence soothes my soul.
I release a little sob and bury my face in his chest. Kit wraps his wings around us in response. It’s like a blanket, and I shudder when his claws gently brush through my hair, careful not to hurt me.
“Schhh, I got you, little one… you’re safe.”
Kit’s voice flows over me, comforting me like I had been a child, and I close my eyes, wanting to forget about the dream and everything that has happened. But no matter how much I pretend, I can’t, and I force myself to sit up and wipe my tears away.
My legs are on either side of the demon, and he peers up at me with concern in his gaze. “What was the nightmare about? If you don’t mind telling me…”
“Demons,” I can see his forehead wrinkling, and there is the slightest look of hurt, so I quickly add, “But not you! It was other demons. Ones who were bad!”
His expression softens. “I see,” he folds his arms underneath his head, and I try not to notice how it makes his biceps bulge and swell even larger. “And what did these demons look like? Were they shadow creatures?”
“Yes, all of them and…” I furrow my forehead, trying to remember what the person in my dream looked like. That man who controlled the demons, but I can’t depict a face. I can only remember his voice. “There was someone who controlled the demons in my dream. A man that I couldn’t see the face of. I could only hear his voice, and he… he was evil. Purely bad with ill intentions.”
Kit goes silent for a while. “You said he could control the demons?”
“Yes.”
“And they were all shadow creatures?”
“Yes, but… they all seemed… dead.”
Kit lips part, and recognition settles on his face. “I think that man may have been a necromancer. A powerful one that can control whatever he brings back to life. It’s forbidden magic and extremely hard to control.”
“Oh…” I bite my lower l*p. “s**t, we should probably tell my dad or my grandpa about this. Probably my grandpa. Avery is the strongest past Alpha in my family.”
“That would be wise,” Kit agrees. “And I could speak to my dad about this. He is the demon king, after all, and I think he would be very angry if he knew a necromancer has been controlling dead demons for their benefit. You see, most demons don’t want to fight all the time, and I’ve been wondering about this ever since I fought that demon stag. I had a feeling someone or something was making it fight, and it seems I was right.”
“You knew?”
“No, it was just a suspicion, but I was almost certain I was wrong; that’s why I didn’t share.”
“I see…” I stroke my chin, sighing. “Then we should probably get home quickly to inform the others. Keeping this to ourselves isn’t—”
I shriek when Kit grips my arms and rolls us over so that I’m pinned underneath him and his playful grin. There is a gleam of a challenge in his yellow eyes, and his tail is lashing back and forth as if he were a cat on the prowl.
“What are a few more hours of them not knowing?” He asks in a low, seductive tone. “Once we go back home, we will no longer share a bed and home, and I would like to keep you for a while longer,” he purrs and cups my whole right breast in his large palm. “How about it?”
“While I would love to sleep with you, I’m sore from yesterday.”
Kit laughs, it’s a low, attractive rumble. “I didn’t necessarily mean s*x. I’m fine with just cuddling and playing around with you. Bonding.”
“Playing around?” This peaks my interest. “How?”
His lips curve higher up in amusement. “How about a game of chase in the woods? You try to run away from me, and if you succeed in escaping from me and reaching the lake in the forest, you will be the winner.”
“Oh… and what happens if I get caught?”
He chuckles with darkness settling over his handsome, demonic face. “You will just have to wait and see.”
“But then I won’t ever know because I will easily win.” If there is something I’m good at, it’s running. I’m super fast in my werewolf form. Sonic The Hedgehog fast… well… not really, but there is some speed in my legs.
“Big words,” Kit grins. “I will be the one to win, though, but… I will give you a five-minute head-start. Just because you’re so cute.”
I snort. “Do I have to remind you that I’m the Alpha of my pack? I’m not slow.”
“And do I have to remind you that my battle form is a gigantic demon? My wings will catch up with you in no time, little Alpha. Be so sure of it.”
“Is that a challenge?”
“Yes… are you game?”
“You know I am.”
“Good,” his teeth show. “Are you fine with five minutes?”
“Those five minutes will be your downfall!” I utter before climbing off of him. “Catch me if you can!”
I shift into my wolf form and bolt out of the tent, eager to feel the wind on my face.
This is fun.
I run swiftly, my pads making no sound on the ground, and I enjoy how the cold early morning air caresses my fur. I’ve missed this since I haven’t been shape-shifting in a while, and I make a mental note to hunt more often at home.
It feels so great to be out in nature!
My senses are on high alert, and I smell everything, hear everything and taste the air with my tongue. I’m in absolute heaven until Kit’s scent wafts into my nostrils, and shivers run down my spine when the winds change direction.
Kit has transformed.
s**t, I can’t let him catch me!
I speed up my pace and jump over rocks and logs. My limbs are burning. My tongue is hanging out from my mouth, and my legs are moving at an incredible speed. I’ve never run this fast, but I can feel that the gigantic demon is closing in on me. His shadow isn’t far away when I glance over my shoulder, and I yelp when I hear the sound of a tree being splintered in half behind me.
Oh my god, is Kit trying to give me a heart attack or what?!
I keep running and running. I feel my heart beating in my ears, my lungs are burning from the intense pace, and I’m breathing roughly. My legs seem to be getting heavier, and my limbs feel like jelly. My stomach is growling for food, and I just have to have a drink of water!
I hear the rushing of water, and my heart skips a beat. I’m here! I’ve made it!
Victory isn’t far away, and I inwardly smile, but it seems my celebrations come too early because, in the next moment, I’m scooped up from the ground like a puppy by its owner.
“Got you!” Kit laughs. “Thought you could get away, huh?”
I glare at the demon holding me like I’m a pet, not a vicious Alpha, and Kit’s laughter turns even deeper.
“Hey, don’t look at me like that! I’m sure you’re plenty fast for a werewolf!”
I change back into a human just to argue. I’m tucked into Kit’s enormous chest like a baby, and a day ago, I would have been terrified. He is a literal giant, but I’ve grown used to his battle form, and I’m not shy to raise my voice.
“Why do you have to be better than me at everything you do?!”
Kit’s eyes widen in surprise. “What?”
“It’s so annoying!”
“Babe…” he nervously laughs, clearly confused. “I’m not better than you at everything that I do.”
“Yes, you are, and don’t even bother to pretend that you’re not!”
He grimaces, and now when he is so enormous, I can see the confusion in his eyes crystal clear. He doesn’t agree with me, which is endearing. “I really don’t see it that way… I love you, Michelle, and there are a lot of things that you’re better than me at.”
I hear him loud and clear, but my irritation doesn’t settle. Instead, I lift my chin defiantly. “Change back to your regular demon form for me.”
Kit stares down at me. I’m not using my order voice, but when I send him a glare, his lips twitch in amusement before he does exactly what I ask. He shrinks down in size, and my fingers sink into the muscles on his broad shoulders.
“Good,” I say, digging my eyes into his. “Now lie down and let me f**k you.”
His lips twitch again. “I thought you were sore?”
“I am,” I glare at him. “But someone is so annoying that he needs to be tamed,” I reach down with my hand, pleased to feel his c**k already hard underneath me. I squeeze it a little, and Kit releases a yelp, but regardless of the sound, his arousal is increasing. I can smell it and smirk. “Will you be a good demon and get down on your back for me?” He needs to be f****d to submission.
Heated eyes find mine, and he purrs. “Oh, I’m loving this Dominatrix version of Michelle,” he chuckles. “And the answer is: yes, ma’am.”
I smile as I straddle him, but even though I feel like I’m the one having all the control, I know that even when I top, I’m still a pathetic little sub.
Why?
Because there is no taming the massive rod between his legs, and when the first inch of his c**k slinks in, I’m already moaning like a w***e and losing myself to the pleasure.
Being with Kit is infuriating but also wonderful.
