"Enough! Did you really want to die?" Daphne lowered her voice, "Didn't I tell you to stay calm? Did you want Aron to hate you and cut off all chances with him? Were you out of your mind?"

"It was all your fault!" Beatrice suddenly punched Daphne in the face. Daphne was stunned. "If you had cared more and finalized the marriage with Mrs. Suzy Timberlake sooner, none of this would have happened! Did you see how smug Evie was? It was all because of that damn kid. The shoe would have hit her head if it weren't for her. If luck was on our side and the heel went into her brain, she would have died!"

Beatrice's eyes were full of resentment.

"Why did you become like this?" Daphne was incredibly shocked.

She always knew that Beatrice was a bit willful. But a bit of a rebellious spirit in a girl was better than being too compliant.
