"The Roberts Group project started today, so I had to visit Lancille Village. I've been quite busy all day. Did something happen?" Hugo saw me talking on the phone, so he silently handed over a lunch box.

I took the lunch box and nodded my thanks. "Nothing much, but Tina just called and asked if we were free to hang out sometime soon. She wants all of us to gather and maybe talk about that plan on opening a shop together."

"Well, okay, let them set the time and date and let me know. Also, why don't you send me the address when you get it and I'll meet you there." I had more work to do this, so I talked while I ate my lunch. In my rush to swallow, I nearly choked.

Hugo handed me a glass of water. I nodded with a smile and thanked him in a soft voice.

On the other end of the line, Naomi said, "Okay, I'll ask them to decide then!"

Recalling last night, I couldn't help but ask, "You were with Sebastian last night, right?"

"Uh uh!" her voice sounded hesitant on the phone, and then she whispered, "Well, I have something to do, so I have to go now. I'll send you the time

and location once it's set."

She immediately hung up after that. Pretty obvious that she was avoiding the topic.

I sighed slightly and hung up the phone. I looked at Hugo and said, "Thank you!"

He smiled and said, "In the past, a man was always responsible for projects here. Almost no women have been put in charge. Miss Reid, you have to be ready for the workload. It will be very tiring." After eating a few mouthfuls of rice, I smiled and said, "Hmm, it's okay. I'll be fine. It's natural for people to feel a little tired after work."

He nodded and said with some emotion, "I see you are still young, almost my daughter's age!"

I laughed and said, "I'm already in my 30s. I don't think you're very old!"

He paused for a moment, looked at me and said, "If you didn't mention it, I would think you were only in your twenties. You look really young for your age."

For a moment, I couldn't help but laugh. Hendrix brought Evan and Rowane over.

Hugo stopped laughing, closed the half- eaten lunch box, and stood up to welcome him. "Mr. Roberts, you're here!"

I closed my lunch box as I was almost done eating as well. I stood up to greet him. "Mr. Roberts!"

Probably because the weather was too hot, Hendrix had taken off his black jacket and slung it over his arm. He was wearing a wine-red shirt, which made him look a little gentler than usual.

He frowned slightly at the lunch box in my hand and said, "Let's head over to the viewing area for a meal later on. You can also report the work progress so far for today. There will also be someone coming over as well, so it'll be great to get to know each other."

Hugo nodded his head and uttered his affirmation.

I didn't say much, as I was finished with lunch anyway. Since we were going to discuss work, there's no need to say much.

As I threw the lunch box into the trash, Hendrix walked over to discuss more with Hugo.

I decided to check on our progress. The 500 square meter area was initially built with manpower. The goal however was to continue the construction with Al technology.

I had to admire the way Rowane's brain worked.

The base's interior had only the general framework built. The insides of the base were all reinforced steel bars and soil, making it a bit messy. Right now, it was rest time, and many operations had stopped.

I don't know much about architecture. But after accepting several projects before, I knew a thing or two about the general idea.

"I've heard that you had taken over such projects in the Roberts Group before. Now that you are working as a director again, how do you feel after years away?"
