Dahlia was not in a good mood tonight. She said coldly, "She's such a weird woman. Why doesn't she have diarrhea earlier or later? Why does she have to make a fuss at a time like this? Is she thinking about

doing something else?"

Rainie quipped, "Dahlia, you don't seem to like Miss Zanes either!"

Dahlia snorted. "For a woman like her, perhaps only men will like her. Women will hate her when they see her."

I didn't pay attention to their discussion. Suddenly, I saw a place that was particularly dark in the middle of the mountain. Curious, I walked over there.

"Arianna!" Rainie cried out in panic.

I was afraid that I might touch a snake or a bug, so I finally gave up just sat on the ground, my knees hugged to my chest, and didn't dare to do anything else.

"Arianna, don't be afraid. Naomi and the others will be here soon. Wait a minute, I'll go look for them. I'll be back soon!" Rainie spoke from above. She said to Dahlia, "Dahlia, you stay here with Arianna. Don't let her be scared. I'll go look for them!"

Dahlia paused and said, "Let me go. I'm faster than you!"

Rainie nodded and Dahlia went off in search of the other team. She stayed, even laying down beside the pit to shine a light for me. She said, "Arianna, can you hear me?"

When I saw the light, I nodded and said, "I can hear you. I'm fine. It's just that it's too dark in here." She tried to throw me the phone but I stopped her. "Don't throw it. I'm not sure big this hole is. If you throw it down now, your phone might be lost just like mine. As long as you can talk to me, I'll be fine!"

She nodded and talked, a hint of worry in her voice, "My phone is running out of battery. I hope Dahlia can come quickly. This mountain is very big and we are not familiar with this place. I am frightened that she will get lost. If that happens, we will be in real trouble!"

There is a possibility for Dahlia to get lost. Although I was in distress as well, I still comforted her, "It's okay, don't think too much about it. We are not far from the city. The worst that could happen is that we'll have to wait until tomorrow morning for someone to come and save us. Nothing will happen!"

She hummed an unconvincing agreement but thankfully she still lay next to the hole. It was likely that she was also agonizing in her heart. She kept chatting with me as a distraction. "Arianna, such an outstanding man like Hendrix is hard to find. Would you regret it if you gave up like this?"

I thought for a moment and answered honestly, "I'll regret it, but don't we all have regrets in life?"

"That's true!" She nodded and sighed. "You said that Rowane really is..."
