After a while, Hendrix came back with a medicine chest in his hand.

'Apart from your arms, where else are you hurt?" He asked while pulling up my sleeves.

I shook my head. A ladies' scuffle could not be that fierce anyway, and those scratches would only take a short while to recover.

In fact, it was not a big deal. Hendrix was overreacting.

He bowed his head and carefully dealt with the wound for me, and he was careful and gentle.

I couldn't help it, my mind began whirring with thoughts.

He suddenly looked up at me and our gazes met. I hurried to avoid him. I looked at him and asked, "What's wrong?"

He raised his eyebrows. "Answer the phone!"

Confused, I asked, "What?".

"Your phone!"

He spoke and then packed the medicine chest.

I didn't realize until then that my phone was ringing. I quickly answered. It was Naomi.

As soon as I picked up, she shouted, "Arianna, what are you doing? Why didn't you answer the phone earlier?"

I felt a little awkward, and then I said, "Well, I had something to do just now. Have you arrived?"

Earlier that morning, she said that she wanted to come to the base. Then, we would go for dinner with Master Attwood at night.

"I've been here for a long time. I'm at the entrance of the hotel. I haven't been to your base and don't know the specific location. Get someone to pick me up!"

I couldn't help but look at Hendrix. Evan seemed to have dealt with Rowane, and Linda was probably busy with her own matters. Sebastian was probably also engaged in the burglary investigations.

So it seems that I was the idlest person around at the moment.

Hendrix caught me staring at him, so he asked, "What's wrong?"

"Naomi arrived. Can we go to pick her up?" I didn't know if he had anything to do, so I could only ask.

"Okay," he said, "She's at the hotel?"

I nodded.

Then, he didn't say anything else. I had some doubts, but I thought that he should be able to deal with them, so I stopped worrying.

It was not a big deal. We left the office and went to the Science and Technology Museum base together.

Evan had been waiting in front of the Science and Technology Museum. When he saw Hendrix, he stepped forward and said, "Mr. Roberts, there is a document from Mr. Shelley. Please have a look!" Hendrix nodded and took the document. He glanced around at the Science and Technology Museum and asked, "How's it going?"

Evan said, "There are some clues. The criminals had an accomplice on the outside, and they don't seem like habitual offenders. Things are a little complicated, so I'm not sure yet!"

Hendrix frowned slightly and nodded. He then took the document and went to the rest lounge outside the base to have a look.

When I found Linda, she seemed quite free. When she saw me, she was shocked. "You guys didn't quarrel?"

Of course, she was asking about Hendrix and me. I nodded and said, "He asked me not to hurt myself in the next fight!"

She was stupefied and suddenly burst into laughter. She looked at me and said, "Alas, he's the mighty President of the company! So he pampers you like a princess!"

Rowane had changed her clothes and came out again. Her beautiful eyes glared at us furiously, as if she wanted to bite us to pieces if she could.

Linda was not afraid either. She looked at Rowane defiantly and said in a loud voice, "You really think that you're favoured just because you're pretty? Actually, inner beauty and a good personality are more important. Otherwise, it's useless to be good-looking."

I raised my hand and tugged on Linda's clothes. I whispered, "Okay, stop talking. Naomi is here. Hendrix has asked someone to pick her up. Is there any work here? Let's deal with it first. Then, I will have dinner with Master Attwood in the evening."
