I looked at the caption Naomi had written, which said, "Life is good. Please love me with all your heart!"

I couldn't help frowning as I looked up at her, "Don't you think that this caption is too explicit?"

She shrugged, "No, I don't. I think it's quite poetic!"

I put my hand on my forehead and stopped talking. I guess it could be considered somewhat poetic.

Just as I was about to put down the phone and eat, my phone vibrated.

I didn't have to think to know who it was. Looking at the caller ID, Naomi curled her lips, "I'm going to witness some PDA again."

I smiled and answered the phone, "Hendrix, have you eaten yet?"

Hendrix's gentle voice came from the other end of the phone, "Yes, I have. Have you gone back to the hotel?"

"Hmm," I answered. I took a bite of the salad and said, "I just got back and I'm going to eat now!"

He was probably still in his office, and I could occasionally hear him tapping on the keyboard. He replied, "It seems that you are really busy today!"

I nodded and said, "Miss Zanes' work is really outstanding. The ground floor of the base has been settled. Today, we were busy with most of the affairs of the first floor. We'll probably finish it tomorrow." He seemed to hear that I was still eating, and he said, "Let's talk about it later. Have a good meal first!"

At the end, he added, "You can't leave any leftovers!"

I pursed my lips. I was already hungry, so I didn't say anything else to him. I hung up on the call and continued to eat my steak.

Naomi looked at me ruefully as she said, "You two are so clingy. Aren't you tired of each other?"

Shrugging my shoulders, I said, "Us? Clingy?"

She nodded, "It's so annoying. Sebastian and I haven't seen each other for several days. He lives next door, but I can't meet him every time I go over, and I can't get through to his phone. It has been a few days, yet he hasn't called me at all. I feel like I've become a widow."

I lowered my head and ate my steak quietly, saying nothing more.

After a few bites, I realized that something was amiss. I looked up from my food and said, "Wait, you haven't been able to get through to Sebastian's phone in the past few days, and you haven't seen him all this while?"

She nodded, rubbing her chin, obviously a little annoyed, "I suspect that he has forgotten about me!"

So, what had Sebastian been busy with recently? It was Linda and I who were basically responsible for Lancille Village. Logically speaking, he should not be busy recently, but why hadn't he even had time to return to the hotel to rest?

Moreover, Linda seemed to have spent the whole night busying herself with other projects in Lancille Village.

"Hey, what are you thinking about? He isn't even your boyfriend. I'm not even that worried about him now. Why are you distracted?" Naomi opened her mouth and took a few bites of the steak in front of her. She probably had no appetite, so she simply stopped eating.

I wasn't too hungry, so I paused for a moment and said to her, "Nothing!" Then, I stopped eating too.

A little upset, she laid on the bed, playing with her mobile phone as she did nothing else. I asked the waiter to clean up the mess.

She suddenly opened her mouth and said, "Argh! They're too much!"

I was stunned for a moment and looked at her with a confused look.

Pouting, she said, "Take a look at your social media yourself!"

I clicked on my mobile phone and looked at my Facebook account. There were a lot of comments and likes on the post Naomi had just used my mobile phone to post.

All my Jarold City acquaintances had liked it, and Valerie had put a smiling face in the comments.

Aaron had commented with some disdain, "You never even posted anything before this, yet you're now going to show off your love even at a distance of a few thousand kilometers every day?" Then, he added a contemptuous emoji at the very end of the comment.
