I froze in my tracks and turned around to look at her, but she picked up her bag and left, leaving no chance for me to ask more. Watching her walk away, I looked at Hendrix with worry in my eyes. "Did you notice anything unusual when you found Anne?"

He shook his head. 'TH send someone to check it out. Don't worry."

I nodded, but there was still a hint of concern in my heart.

Watching Hendrix and I return slowly to our seats, Aaron curled his lip and said, "What have you two been up to? You two need time alone even during dinner with me?"

When Hendrix sat down and saw that he had almost finished the food, he asked me, "Is there anything else you want to eat?"

I shook my head and said, "I'm not hungry. Let's go home."

Being ignored by us, Aaron was furious. "Are you kidding me? Can both of you stop this? Didn't you say that you were going to have dinner and chat with me? I was just here to be the third wheel for you?" I looked at him and said, "What happened between you and Yana?"

He lowered his head, took a sip, and said, "Nothing!" Judging from his attitude, it was obvious that he did not want to answer me.

Looking at Hendrix, I said, "Let's go home."

As I spoke, I pulled on Hendrix and was about to leave. Aaron swore and followed behind us. "Hello, what is with you two? You were supposed to be here to accompany me, but I didn't feel your companionship at all. Also leaving right after dinner, this is no different from leaving after a one-night stand."

I walked over to Aaron's side and saw a couple standing in front of him. The woman was someone I knew. I hadn't seen her for a long time. She wore a pink marten coat, which made her fair skin look even more rosy and luminescent.

"Yana!" I couldn't help exclaiming. My gaze fell onto the man next to her, who was holding her arm. The man was wearing a black down jacket. He was tall and not very handsome, but because of his height advantage, he looked good overall.

As the five of us gaped at each other, I sensed that something was wrong. I looked at Aaron and saw that his face was covered in fury. After a long pause, he spat, "How long has this been going on?"
