My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) -
Chapter 1354
Catching sight of me standing outside the building, Yana stopped the car and waved to me. I got in the car and Yana shove a heat pack into my hand. I was stunned for a moment. She smiled and said, "The weather is too cold outside. Ethan brought two for both of us!"
I was a little surprised at how considerate Ethan was and thanked him.
Ethan responded with a smile as usual and then started the car.
Seeing the big bag next to Yana, I was a little curious, "What did you bring?"
She beamed at me, "Just some snacks! Ethan said that we are going to be exhausted after trying on the wedding dress, so we have to replenish our energy."
I clicked my tongue. I did not know what to say. Looking at her smiley face, I felt happy for her. It turned out that a man could really cherish a woman like a princess.
Yana saw me smiling with my head down. She tugged at me and asked, "By the way, are you and Hendrix planning to hold another wedding?"
I shook my head, "No, we have already done it once. The wedding procedures are complicated and take up a lot of time. Besides, Anne's illness has not been cured, so we have no time to prepare." She looked at me, "Oh, Arianna, can I ask you for a favor?"
I was slightly stunned but nodded, "Of course!"
"Really?" She seemed to be very happy, "I don't have many friends. I wonder if you can be my bridesmaid for my wedding?"
I was a little surprised, "Shouldn't a bridesmaid be single? I'm already married. I reckon this isn't very appropriate."
"Why not? Rules are meant to be broken. I don't care about these things, I just want to hold a fun wedding."
I looked at her puppy eyes and agreed, "Okay, but when will the wedding be held?"
She looked at Ethan and tugged gently on his sleeve, "Dear, our wedding is on the 15th of next month, right?"
Ethan put a hand onto his forehead, exasperated, "It's the fifth!"
She grinned and looked at me, "On the fifth of next month!"
I nodded. But after a moment, I had another revelation. I looked at her and said, "Sorry. I forgot to tell you that I am pregnant. I don't think it's appropriate for a pregnant woman to be a bridesmaid." Her eyes widened in shock, "You're pregnant? Is it true?"
I watched as she started dancing around happily in her seat. I couldn't help smiling at this sight, "It's true. I'm about two months along now, but I haven't gotten any pregnancy symptoms yet, so it's almost impossible to tell."
She was so excited that she grabbed my hand and said, "That's great. Carney will have a younger sister in the future. Have you told Uncle Charles about this?"
I smiled lightly and shook my head, "Not yet. It's still early. My mother said that once the pregnancy is stable, she will tell everyone and invite everyone to have a celebration together."
She nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, that's great!" After laughing for a while, she realized something and glanced at me, "You are pregnant, but you still came out with me. You must be very tired. Let's send you back first!"
I couldn't help but laugh. I pulled her arm and said, "Hey, don't make a fuss. You are also a mother. I want to help you to find the perfect wedding dress. I'll be fine."
She paused for a moment. Then, she nodded and began to laugh along with me.
