Hendrix held the steering wheel, raised his eyebrows and replied, "Should be!"

This looked a little interesting.

"Let's go see what's happening!" I said. After that, I got out of the car and walked to the lobby, trailing behind Eunice. Logically, even if she wanted to find Aaron, she should at least dress sensibly. It was not like her to come looking for Aaron like this!

"Miss, do you have an appointment?" the receptionist asked. Eunice, who was walking into the Reid Group building, was stopped by the receptionist.

"I'm looking for Aaron. Don't try to stop me," Eunice replied. She seemed to be agitated, and did not care about what the receptionist had said. She stormed into the lobby.

However, the security guards were still there to stop her when the receptionist failed to. Eunice was dragged out of the building by the guards. They warned her politely not to break in, or else they would have to take extreme measures.

Eunice was too agitated to even listen to them. Instead, she rushed into the lobby again like a crazy woman, which made the security guards furious. A few of the security guards dragged her out of the building again and proceeded to stand guard outside the entrance instead.

Seeing that she couldn't get in at all, Eunice shouted anxiously, "Aaron, I want to see Aaron. If you dare to stop me, I'll make him fire you after I see him."

The security guards remained unmoved. Hendrix and I watched for a while and soon felt bored. So, I took out my phone and called Aaron. The call was connected quickly.

"Hello, have you arrived, Arianna? I just finished the meeting. Wait a minute. I'll come down right away!" Aaron said. There were still some voices beside him. It seemed that his secretary was giving him work- related updates.

I murmured in reply. I wasn't calling him to urge him, but rather, I wanted to ask him what was going on with Eunice. After hearing what he said, I said flatly, "Well, there seems to be someone down here looking for you. She looks pretty anxious."

The man on the other end of the line was silent for a moment and said, "Eunice is downstairs, isn't she?"

I didn't reply, but said, "It's getting late, I'm a little hungry, come down quick!"

He did not continue asking. He just bade me farewell and quickly hung up the phone.

Hendrix looked down at his phone. He had never been interested in drama like this, so he just played with his phone idly.

Eunice was still shouting at the door, but no one paid attention to her. It seemed that Aaron had informed them in advance, so everyone continued to ignore her.

After a while, Aaron came down. He was dressed in a suit with a black coat over it. He looked like a gentleman, with a cool and domineering presence.

When he saw me, he walked straight towards me. He completely ignored Eunice, who was still screaming at the door. He looked at me and said with a faint smile, "Have you been waiting long? Are you hungry?"

I shrugged but didn't answer him. I just looked at him, pointed at Eunice, and said, "Don't you want to deal with her? Aren't you worried about ruining your reputation?"

He squinted at Eunice outside, with disgust in his eyes. He said indifferently, "This woman is getting more and more ruthless. She's really annoying."

After that, he went in her direction and stopped in front of her, giving her a cold stare.

Eunice ran towards him excitedly when she saw him, but she was stopped by the security guards. She shouted at the security guards, "Are you blind? I am Mr. Reid's friend. Why are you stopping me? Get out of my way!"
