Chapter 1543

I was totally dumbfounded by the scene in front of me. My jaw dropped wide open and I tried to force out a sentence, "I.."

"Invite Miss Reid in!" Sebastian ordered, putting down the glass of red wine in his hand. He stared at me with a hint of contempt in his eyes. His stare sent an indescribable chill down my spine. Two men brought me to his side and then left.

He crossed his legs and looked at me with a smile. "Sit down and enjoy the show. I assume that you don't often witness this kind of thing."

I was frozen in place because I suddenly discovered that there were five wild dogs in the room, and they were all staring at me.

I really couldn't figure out what Sebastian was trying to do. Seeing that I didn't move, he looked up and stared at me coldly

"You prefer to watch standing up?"

What happened next shook me to my very core.

I retched violently and threw up.

Sebastian stared at me indifferently as I vomited onto the ground. It seemed that all of this was very interesting to him.

I threw up so badly that my mouth started to taste sour. After some time I came back to my senses and I was at a loss for words. "Sebastian! Are you nuts?"

This man was crazy!

Sebastian glanced at me indifferently and his thin lips parted. "What? Are you feeling guilty? Why don't you just hand over the contract?"

"Sebastian, do you know what you are doing?" Looking at him, I was starting to have a mental breakdown. He really was capable of doing anything, as long as it helped him achieve his goals.

He leaned against the sofa lazily and gave me a look of disdain. Then, he said something that sent chills down my spine. "Tell me, if you were to join them, will Hendrix hand the contract over to me?"

"You are crazy!" My face turned pale and I took a step back. Looking at him, I couldn't help but feel my heart jolt. This man had lost his mind. Sebastian chuckled arrogantly. "Arianna, you're too naive. You are no match for me. Why don't you be a good girl and just hand over the contract?"

I pursed my lips and suddenly regretted coming here. If I hadn't entered this room, he wouldn't have been able to threaten me!

"Sebastian, I am willing to hand over the contract to anyone else but you. All you want is to impress the Milton family. Look at how you've ruined all the Milton family's businesses. The reason you want to take control of Oakland's port business is just a last-ditch effort in trying to revive the Milton family. I believe Master Milton has already handed some of your businesses over to someone else. You will not stop until you get what you want, and no matter how capable you are, I will not hand the contract over to you. I will wait until you are sentenced to prison, and someone else takes over the Milton family. Only then will I hand over the contract. People like you deserve to rot in prison!" A hint of murderous intent clouded his dark eyes. Sebastian smirked as he said, "I belong in prison? Arianna, I can see why Hendrix has fallen in love with you. I'm impressed!"

I was forced into a corner by him. I couldn't stand still, and my legs started to tremble. I opened my mouth, but before I could say anything, I heard a sudden rip. In a split second, my clothes had been torn into pieces, and I heard Sebastian's angry voice yelling, "Get out of here!"

After a moment, all the people in the room had left. I stared at him, and tears started to well up in my eyes. Then, watching him circling me, I panicked. "Sebastian, you can't lay a finger on me. Hendrix will never let you get away with this!"

He sneered. "Is he important? Should I be afraid of him? Don't forget that this is my territory that you are in. What can he do even if I lay my hands on you? Don't forget that he is currently in Asherton, trying to look for evidence to prove me guilty."

He moved closer and closer to me. He looked particularly disgusting. I trembled in fear and almost broke down. I wanted to raise my hand to push him away, but how could I overpower him?
